  1. He's not going to be traded because he isn't worth anything in trade value. If they went full tank, he might get released.
  2. "We got all the season ticket money, so it's safe to start the tank job now."
  3. To win a SB, you need an above-average coach and an above-average QB. TT is probably an average-at-best QB. Therefore, you need a QB. EJ is nowhere near average. This isn't a playoff team next year. Cut EJ, keep TT around as a one-year bridge, and either draft a QB that you're going to give significant tryout minutes to or trade for a backup and find out if he's the next big thing. If nothing is going anywhere after six games, tank like a mother and get a high pick for next year's crop.
  4. Yep. Spot on. On top of this, I'm sure that the league would highly "encourage" the hire for diversity publicity. Buffalo doesn't need a big name coach to draw fans unless they stop selling beer at games. The rubes will show up no matter what the results are and no matter who they hire, so you might as well hire the guy that's in-house, buys the moron president/GM a couple more years, and probably gets a couple mill under the table from the league into the pockets of the Pegulas.
  5. Doug Whaley should have been fired already. Firing Rex to let this moron make the hire is pointless. Another fan base not known for being stupid drunks wouldn't put up with this.
  6. The most important thing is to throw the game next week and improve the draft pick.
  7. Anyone who has a backup we need to make a decision about should sit. I wouldn't even bring Shady to practice this week. Shut him down. The only thing you can get him is hurt.
  8. He's not a "wonderful man". He's a con artist. He creates controversy in order to take the spotlight off of his continued failings. He's a fat Donald Trump with a whistle.
  9. Maybe if Buffalo had a fan base with actual standards, you wouldn't get crapped on year after year. When your calling card is a bunch of out-of-control drunks who'll buy tickets no matter what, why in the world do you think owners/management will have any respect for you? You won't cancel your tickets. You won't stop buying gear. So why do you think they'll ever care if you're mad that they don't win? Hell, LA Rams fans stopped coming to games TWO GAMES AGO, and they've had the team approximately 20 seconds. You know what? They'll get a real coach and real players in the offseason. Guess who won't? Cancel your tickets. Stop buying the junk. Then maybe you'll get a real team and a real front office. Until then, drink your beer and look in the mirror because you're the problem.
  10. 1. His "stunts" consist of saying stuff in press conferences that he's required to do. 2. He wins games. Lots of them.
  11. Hi, long time listener. Can you name one other NFL coach that does some stupid-a** stunt once a week like Rex does? Oh, there isn't one. Thanks for taking my call.
  12. Yawn. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. As long as the Ryans are still around, you're getting played. Keep buying those tickets, rubes.
  13. It's the NFL. Good coaches kill one another to get jobs. The only thing Rex will kill you for is the last polish sausage. Waiting for 1-8 to fire him is just dumb. Do it this week and get on with it.
  14. You want options? How about a PS4 running the "Ask Madden" playlist of Madden 2017? That's a better option than Donald Rex Trump Ryan, and it only costs about $500 a year.
  15. Yep. We'll save enough money on reducing the buffet to pay for the next guy.
  16. Whaley and the head of the medical staff should be fired. Today. The average player lasts three years in the NFL, and you give away one of them on your first-round pick to an injury everyone knew about but you flatly denied. It's clown-car personnel decisions like this that keep the Bills a running punchline.
  17. I'd be okay with that. Rex is cool with symbolic movements that don't do any good. Might as well cut him in the postgame presser.
  18. I'd say that he put his foot in his mouth, but that's not really an insult to Rex.
  19. Same ol' Bills. At least I'll get another year without wasting money on gear.
  20. Great. He can stay on the roster. If he learns to play safety or WR by next year. But he can't play QB.
  21. Then if we're going to start Manuel, then no. The team can do nothing to sell me on next year. That would be admitting that it will be 16 years with no playoffs, because Manuel is not an NFL quarterback and never will be.
  22. EJ Manuel is terrible. If you're going to play him to try to showcase him for a trade, fine. But he shouldn't be on the roster next year.
  23. Marrone, Hackett, Orton, and Manuel all out, and both a veteran QB of some status and a first-round rookie QB on the roster. Without that, same ol' sorry-*** Bills.
  24. What calendar date is Black Monday? Asking for a friend.
  25. CJ will add himself to the long line of RBs who find their stride with better coaching. He cannot and will not be resigned. Not 100% his fault, but just disappointing.
