  1. Marv says to take that canoe over Niagara Falls.
  2. Bottom line was that Mularkey was a weak head coach. Good riddance!!!!
  3. Looking at his bio, he's pushing 60 years old. It wouldn't surprise me if Marv tries to hire a not-so-young coach to make a statement against ageism.
  4. Not true, the Ham Sandwich isn't available. Ronnie Earle indicted him.
  5. I've often wondered about this. I speculate that Ralph sees the salary cap dollars as money that he is obligated to spend as a result of the shared tv revenue. But, when it comes to paying the front office/coaching staff, that's money out of his pocket. God forbid, he has to sell another of his Monet's. TD, love him or hate him, was paid about half his market value.
  6. From his interview with Houston, "I’m going to go back(to Buffalo) and the head coach and myself will sit down and talk and we’re going to see where he wants to go. And if it fits for Jerry, then fine. If it don’t, then Jerry’s got to adjust." I'm sure somebody else can articulate it better than I, but this guy just isn't quite right for a leadership role. I think he piggybacked on Lebeau and, one year out, he lost his way.
  7. I think this is how the Steelers felt when TD was interviewing Mularkey!!!
  8. Well said. BTW, did anybody hear Theisman last night say that Bledsoe's pocket presence was reminiscent of Dan Marino?!
  9. Buffalo In an otherwise dismal 2005 season, we hear that ORT Jason Peters has been a big bright spot for the Bills. Word is that the Bills believe the second-year player out of Arkansas, who went undrafted as a tight end and signed with the Bills following the 2004 draft, will be a foundation at a tackle spot on the Bills’ O-line for years to come. Peters, who has awed Bills players and coaches with incredible athleticism for a 6-foot-4, 320-pounder, had never played right tackle before assuming the starting ORT spot from disappointing Mike Williams in Week 10. He told PFW that he has earned praise for his pass blocking from O-line coach Jim McNally and is open to playing either right or left tackle. “I will play wherever the coaches decide is the best to help the team win,” he said. “Both right and left tackle are similar, but you do need different techniques. Right now, I feel as comfortable on the left side as I do on the right side, so wherever they decide to put me, I will go out and do my best to help the team win.”
  10. I nominate this for the stupidest post ever.
  11. I might agree with you, but this team stops playing after the first drive.
  12. I think the key phrase is Mularkey stating that the wind was taken "out of our sails". First, as a head coach he should make sure this doesn't happen and should never publicly state that if it does. He is saying that his team is mentally weak and can't handle the ups and downs of a typical NFL game. He is not fit to be an NFL coach.
  13. I don't even think he was a very good coordinator. I pray that RW shows him the door. Next year it will be like watching the same bad movie over and over again. It just doesn't get any better and has the same lousy ending.
  14. It sounds like TD and MM did some good politicking with the announcing crew. They're total TD and MM apologists. SHUT THE F UP!!! How many games has Stirling Sharpe watched!!! This team is not going in the right direction!!!
  15. If this game hasn't proven he's in over his head, I don't know will. RW PLEASE allow Meathead to call plays for Madden 06 and NOT the Bills. You're killing us!!!!!
  16. I'm feeling pretty indifferent about this game, too. Blah, blah, blah, says it all. Mularkey and TD have lost all credibility. All the inflated expectations going into this season were either artificially manufactured or the result of two guys just not knowing much about the game. Either way, it doesn't reflect well on them.
  17. Did you just take a breath from servicing Drew to post this drivel?
  18. How about Scott Pioli from the Patsies? Seriously.
  19. Damn, and I thought the Bills were good until I saw these numbers. I am now enlightened
  20. I agree with most except Mularkey hasn't proven he can coach, yet. We know he doesn't know how to call plays or manage a game as he indicated in having JP ground the ball with 1:30 left in the second quarter amongst other questionable calls in his two years.
  21. We're fans, not players. You can get settled.
  22. Hopefully Fox will start an all sports channel for us Crackers.
  23. I was thinking the same thing yesterday. It seems as though every big play in the past was destined to be called back. The only big penalty I can remember was on WM's run. Our receivers DO need to quit grabbing cloth down field. Once McGahee breaks the line of scrimmage, he is going to win one-on-one with a f'ing DB!!!
  24. I am sure this has been posted, but Bills-Miami is in hd and I am happy as can be. Yeah, I am intoxicated and I am ignoring the fact that my team has slightly above average talent and an inferior coach in Mularkey. However, I don't care right now as I am intoxicated. I am, as I was in the early 90's, hoping that, somehow, luck will prevail, and we will, somehow, despite inferior coaching as we had with Levy, win the Super Bowl. I know this is not very rational, but I don't care. I will be rooting for this team despite this. Cheers!!!!
