  1. Would you rather he blow sunshine up their arses or tell it the way it is? He can't win either way with some people.
  2. JP's doing a great job, JP sucks; we have an elite defense, the defense isn't in the top ten and we're going to miss the playoffs... It's waaaaayy too early to draw the conclusions that people are on this board. Let's wait 'til the half-way point, eight games before we make a serious evaluation of this team. OK!!!!
  3. After watching the game again, the o-line wasn't as bad as I originally thought. Obviously Tampa didn't respect the pass because JP sucked so they were stacking the line and blitzing, but there were lanes for Willis to run through. Willis looked indecisive. Sometimes it's good to be patient, but yesterday, he needed to find the hole and run with authority.
  4. My Directv program guide in Miami says just CC, no hi-def.
  5. Thanks for the info. It was a total hit job. Cowart already had 2 1/2 sacks and was dominant. Few of those players are left, but I still hate them.
  6. The last time we played Tampa, a Tampa o-lineman had a dirty hit on Cowart that knocked him out of the game with a high ankle sprain. The hit ended his season, thus ending the Bills chances. Does anybody remember who the SOB was? Besides the fact that I don't like Jon Gruden, I'm looking for another reason to dislike them.
  7. WYOBILLS says, "...close game. I BILLieve the deciding factor..." He/She is a total tool. It's like he's embarrassed to be a Bills fan.
  8. I'm not a big Madden fan, but I'm just happy not to be subjected to Theismann or Paul Maguire's complete idiocy.
  9. The bigger scandal that everyone is missing is Stu's fluorescent pea-green shirt.
  10. I'm watching the game again on tivo and was watching the pass to Gaffney in the fourth quarter. It was one of Carr's few accurate passes and one of the Bills' d few breakdowns. It would have been, by far, the best offensive play of the day. The ball hit Gaffney right in the shoulder and he is 25 yds down field!! When did he plan on turning around? Did he think he was on punt coverage? Did he think he was doing laps around the goalpost as a punishment??
  11. I've noticed the same thing. They forget that Denver has the 2004 Browns d-line and underestimate Moss's importance to the Minnesota's offense.
  12. In this league and college as well as the Buckeyes found out last night. I was having a deja vu for a while today, but fortunately the Bills-Texans aren't evenly matched teams as OSU-Texas. With every fg the Bucks made, I felt they were sinking in quick sand.
  13. Right. To me that was the play of the game for the o-line.
  14. ...and taking Clarett in the third round.
  15. Are you talking about the Bledsoe typically well engineered screen pass that Burger King intercepted and returned? Man, he sucks!!!
  16. Don't get me wrong, I am happy as schnitt about the win. But, while the offense is much better with JP at qb, the Bills still stall in the red zone. Once they stalled because of Gandy's holding, but the others were the result of the o-line not being able to drive the defense off the ball and open holes. I just hope the o-line gels and gets better as the season progresses.
  17. You gotta give them a little more credit. In pass protection, there were times that JP had all day to throw. I haven't seen anything like it from a Bills o-line in ten years. I'll agree that their rush blocking wasn't great.
  18. It's funny how Drew-bashing gets under the skin of certain people. It's almost tradition for fans to root against their former player's teams. Plus, Drew is such a pu%&y.
  19. Why can't we run the ball? Willis is 7-12!!! (Not doomed, everything else is great)
  20. Who the hell is this p.o.s. anyway. Why does the NFL have this moron on their pre-game. This is why I don't watch that over-commercialized, idiot-fest of a show. Just play the game!!!
