  1. Quite frankly(As Stephen A. Smith would say) I don't think our defense can shut everybody down, but they do have playmakers on defense ala Super Bowl teams. But, in all fairness, the defense did not get any help from the offense in those games that were mentioned. Despite not getting a great game from our defense, we were still in a position to win toward the end of the games.
  2. Who the hell is John Czarnecki, anyway??!!! I don't know what games he has been watching. It's almost as if people are hoping or anticipating that JP will fail.
  3. Sorry Ravens, Kyle Boller aint no Trent Dilfer!!
  4. Bad call. The receiver came into the body of Greer and Greer's arms got on the outside of his shoulderpads. That is what caused the ref to throw the flag.
  5. I like the way Gates looked on Saturday, but that was against future practice squad players. Shaud Williams looked good last week, but he had some gaping holes to run through. ReShard Lee has looked ok running the ball. The only one I think may be out of the running is Burns who is too small to carry the load, but probably will be kept for special teams.
  6. Seriously, if you feel that much anxiety with the irrational fear of terrorists targeting a Bills game, I think you need some professional help.
  7. If you were stupid enought to ship time sensitive event tickets via the USPS, you deserve at least a negative feedback.
  8. TD will not let NC go even if he has to use the franchise tag. He has been willing to pay players in their prime.
  9. Amen. It's nice to see that somebody else saw the irony with that thread.
  10. I was thinking the same thing. But, they aren't running anything that the opposition couldn't see from games last year.
  11. What is with this? Last season it was a reality show at the Jaguars camp and it's the same this year. And, because of lack of programming variety, they show it a few times a day.
  12. I read a few articles and agree. They were giving the Bills respect and not whining at all. The closest to whining was saying that they weren't prepared for it.
  13. I agree, except that if you leave a neg feedback you have to be prepared to receive a sour grapes negative on your feedback. I say wait to see if it shows up. If not, leave a neutral and move on. It shows terrible judgement to put sport event tickets in a regular envelope with first class postage. They should have been sent via Fedex and you should have insisted on it.
  14. The market that is the NFL teams would disagree with you with the big contracts they have given top-flight cb's. I don't think a deal is going to get done before the season starts, but I think TD is going to use the franchise tag after the season is over or use it as leverage to get a deal done.
  15. CFL great that is. I heard Flutie traded it in for a Mini.
  16. A few years ago, I met a guy who said everything good was "breasts". It cracked me and a friend up so much that we were going to start a campaign to bring the expression back in fashion. It didn't work, we couldn't overcome the newest expression, "that's tight".
  17. I just wish they would stick to showing sports highlights and stay away from doing movies or tv series. I can't handle the endless previews of bad movies with B-movie actors; Tom Sizemore as Pete Rose, Barry Pepper as Dale Earnhadt... And then there's that Casino show. Their work is so damned amateurish, it's painful just to watch the previews that they relentlessly plug, jamming down your throat months ahead of their showing.
  18. I don't like his militant, Louis Farrakhan loving, cracker-hating in your face attitude that exudes every time his face is on the screen and is reinforced when he opens his mouth. It's just how I feel.
  19. Absolutely, it's more important to have a qb with a lighting fast release and cannon arm in comparison to Bledsoe, with his pat-pat-pat...long laborious release, regardless if, assuming, Bledsoe can throw the ball 3 yards further.
  20. After listening on the radio, hearing the reviews and seeing some of the highlights, I believed that JP had a so-so game. But, after watching it on NFL network, I think JP played well and that, but for a couple of dropped balls and Evans falling down, the Bills could have scored in the first two drives. In the first series, he hit Evans on a deep out route at the sideline. I thought initially it was thrown into the ground, but upon closer review, it hit Evans in the chest and was a catchable ball thrown where only Evans could catch it. Next, he had Evans open on a fly pattern in which Evans was tripped by the defender and fell. It was a nice touch pass and could have been a big gain. In the third series, the drive was stalled when Josh Reed bobbled another nice ball thrown low and away where nobody else could catch it. A catch would have been a first down. In the fourth and fifth series, JP's looked good in passing and running, both drives ending in scores. He had one bad throw into traffic down the middle that Haddad ended up catching. Throughout, Evans used his athletic ability to escape the rush and throw a short pass or run for a good gain. The most troubling part was his two passes down the middle into traffic that could have been intercepted and, of course, his fumble at the beginning of the third quarter. However, overall, I came away with a lot better feeling about his performance.
  21. OJ says he is a fan of Mao Tse Tung? Huh? It sounds like a freudian slip. He thinks Mao did a lot of good things for his people before his actions and policies led to famine, repression and death. And, OJ was a great running back, successful actor and pitch man before his actions led to...
  22. It looks like Phil is choking, again. I thought he only choked when he was head-to-head with Tiger.
  23. It didn't help matters. He didn't play worth a sh#t.
  24. I jumped off his bandwagon when he f'd up during the Ryder Cup last year after he changed clubs the week of the Cup. His priorities shown through.
