  1. As they say on the basketball court, “D up on that guy and follow him to the locker room if you have to.”
  2. Bills are now 6 pt favorites. Don’t usually see lines move like this unless a QB is out.
  3. JAX is an extremely streaky team, they’re fully capable of beating the Chiefs… but they’ll have to bring their A game, especially Trevor, and hope for a few funny bounces of the football.
  4. ESPECIALLY with a potential PHI vs BUF SB matchup. The birds have 4/5 OL who received 1st or 2nd team All Pro votes. That coupled with AJ Brown and the speedy skinny dude whose name escapes me, I don’t think we’d match up all that well with them. This DL underwhelms given draft position and resources allocated to the trenches. If just that unit could step up and play out of their minds, it’d take care of the secondary and everything else.
  5. Both the Bills and the Bengals almost lost to inferior teams, yes, but I’d say the difference is that the Bengals were largely outplayed by the Ravens, while the Bills kept the Dolphins in the game by way of their own self-inflicted errors. No one, not even Dolphins fans, can say that team outplayed the Bills. It was more they were fortunate to be as close as they were. I didn’t think the Bengals had a sloppy game necessarily, or were clearly the better team against the Ravens.
  6. I like how last year everyone was sure that if we had beaten KC, the Bengals were just a speed bump on the way to the SB. Well, it’s the same core team (albeit with a better record) but this time around I’m seeing a ton of nervous nellies. The only worry I have really is if the team isn’t dialed in with laser focus. If they are and they don’t turn over the ball, Bills win. This isn’t a coin flip match, Bills are the more talented team (even if they don’t always play that way).
  7. So much whining from the Chiefs side right now. Some have even gone so far to say that the Bills and Bengals game will be fixed to make sure the Bills win which will secure the money paid towards Atlanta. I’m glad I don’t have to read on this board about a fix being in or how the NFL wants the Chiefs/Bengals in the SB every other post.
  8. Yep, he was there. Saw him before everyone else.
  9. One of my main complaints about Edmunds was that he had no definable moments in his career. No big time plays in big time games. This play will go down as that - a definable moment. First time in his 5 year career he got a “wow!” out of me. Hope to see more like these for this playoff run!
  10. Your posts were stated in a way such that all, or at least the majority of us, were over here making far-fetched claims. It’d be the same as me coming here saying “Chiefs fans are over there calling Hamlin ‘Deadmar’,” when in fact I only read it from one poster - and I came back here and relayed that information truthfully “one of the fans over there…” Don’t make it sound like we’re all clueless over here. I liked that you were contradicted by one of your own who said “I read through about 8 pages and found them all to be reasonable for the most part.” But hey, if you think a negative experience with a couple fans here represents the majority of us, then do what you do. Take that info to the jungle. Vilify us all. Go Bills!
  11. Good question, because up until the Patriots game I remember the broadcast saying we hadn’t hit on a long ball in something like 6 games. We hit a couple on the Patriots and against the Dolphins that’s all we were trying to do. I know, I know, cover 0 and all that, but the answer to all out blitzes isn’t the long ball. It’s screens, slants, hitting the RB in the flat, other quick hitters. With the Bills up 17-0, it felt like they wanted to put on a show. Maybe a (false) message to the Bengals…?
  12. Josh is hardheaded, for sure. His past coaches have said as much. It’s just something we’ll have to live with as fans. I know McD criticized Josh on that John Brown pass and Josh also took ownership of it, but looking back at the overhead view of the play, the throw was absolutely there to be made. It was just a bad ball. A terrible one actually, thrown against the direction where Brown was headed. One could say the QB and the WR weren’t on the same page, but Brown had nothing but green grass to his left and only X back there, not really in position to stop anything. If Allen threw it more towards the middle of the field and not a floater that drifted towards the sideline, it could’ve been an easy uncontested TD. Josh should’ve read that blitz and looked for his hot man (Singletary). Didn’t even see the defender coming until late and then tried to fight his way out of it.
  13. Curious where his brother is. For as close/combative as they were growing up, he doesn’t seem to be around much. I know everyone has their own life, but his sister and parents are prominent. Could he be… resentful? 😄
  14. One fan over there was calling Damar “Deadmar.” I don’t know if there’s a lower class of message board than CP.
  15. Dawkins was beaten on the Chubb sack/fumble. (14:05 mark)
  16. If the Fins had played the Ravens on a neutral field this past Sunday, which team wins?
  17. If this interview took place today, Cris would immediately be canceled, placed on leave from the network (with a divorce impending), and sued from women claiming to be his underage victims. None of his words would pass in today’s society.
  18. Hadn’t put those two together, he didn’t want to be on that field with “the others” throwing check down passes. You may be on to something there 😅
  19. Excellent story from ESPN that gives you a deeper dive into the making of Josh Allen. Includes accounts from friends, family, coaches, and former teammates. Co-written by Bills beat reporter Alaina Getzenberg: Untold Tales on the Making of Bills QB Josh Allen
  20. Just got back from the CessPool message board. Probably will have to bleach my eyeballs. Anyway, about 90% of them will be pulling for the Bengals to win; not because they think the Bills are a threat, but because they believe the neutral site is BS and it rightfully belongs to them since the Bills “quit” on MNF. They bemoan the suicide of their own Jovan Belcher and the fact the league made no concessions for them, but it’s not striking they can’t tell the difference from a player voluntarily taking his life at a field house, versus one who’s heart stopped on the field in front of millions, playing the game he loves. Oh and the fact the Bengals didn’t want to return to action either is also lost on them. They believe the Bengals are the better team, Burrow is a bigger threat than Allen, and they have no fear of Buffalo without Von Miller. They want to avenge the 0-3 against Burrow at Arrowhead and then punch their ticket to the SB. My dislike of KC is up there, it’s not quite at the level of NE during the Brady years, but I reallllllly want that team to fail. And I want us to be the ones to beat them. The arrogance among that fanbase is ridiculous.
