  1. I’m trying to remember what it was as well. The Bills held some other statistics like this and became the first team with those stats NOT to make it to the SB last year. Can’t remember what the specific stats were.
  2. Lawson has played well this year and tied for total pressures in one of the games IIRC. I think Kingsley would go before Lawson.
  3. Still don’t understand how someone as big as he is can get pushed around so easily. There’s only 2 reasons why someone would painstakingly put together a reel of a player’s every snap: to shower that player with praise, or to highlight his ineffectiveness. It’s obviously the latter in this case. On one of those early plays he had a beeline to the RB and could have made the tackle, but chose to run up to and engage with a blocking lineman. Reminded me of a similar play he had here against Tampa Bay.
  4. I think as a defensive coordinator, Sean McD would’ve known far less about the Panthers draft board than assistant GM Joe Schoen knew about ours - and Schoen didn’t know ours extremely well. Certainly not the finalized grades as Beane alluded to when asked what information they had to protect from Schoen as he ran his first NYG draft filled with Buffalo intel.
  5. It’s early, but Bernard is certainly playing like a 1st round off the ball linebacker. And those guys don’t usually go first round anymore, but he brings that pass rush ability too.
  6. Milano wasn’t Beane’s pick, it was Whaley/McD. Benford is looking like his best value pick so far.
  7. No room for him anyway. And if that horrid defense is releasing him, it tells me he’s likely a scapegoat of some kind. Maybe he was caught on film dogging it and going through the motions as Miami put up 70 and the Bears had their most productive day.
  8. Bengals, Giants, Patriots are all worse than the Jets according to this.
  9. I was shocked to see Van Rotten play so well for the Raiders. We didn’t hear much of the DL that day, but Jimmy G also seems like he’s willing to throw an INT than take a sack.
  10. I vote for a later start as well. Kickoff is at 6:30AM on the west coast.
  11. Tyreek gave him props on his hustle after the game. Said he saw #61 chasing him relentlessly and thought to himself “I’m not getting hit by that big dude.” Thought it was pretty cool he recognized Zimmer more than any of the other defenders chasing him and took the time to praise him.
  12. Yeah his wingspan and middle of the field presence were always overvalued amongst Bills fans. I have a hard time believing that neither Bernard nor Milano make that stop. Hell, I think Dodson makes the stop too. It wasn’t a lack of top speed issue, it was a lack of all out effort.
  13. I’d categorize this as a “low effort play.” Bills at Chiefs 2020 AFCCG (7:25 mark) Watch as Edmunds runs half speed to Tyreek and his subsequent pathetic attempt at a tackle. Does that look like the effort of a player who just HAD to make that stop? It’s when my criticisms of his play really started to pick up.
  14. 😂😂😂
  15. Too bad they couldn’t get Guinness back out there to measure the decibel levels.
  16. The face mask was grabbed outside the EZ, but wasn’t twisted or pulled until the defender was in the endzone. Terry McCaully actually contradicted himself. He said it shouldn’t have been a safety because it began outside of it, but then defined a facemask as grabbing then twisting the helmet and that occurred in the endzone (which would make it a safety). Collinsworth said something like “so it isn’t a facemask until it’s twisted?” and McCaully said “that’s correct.” So which is it, Terry? A safety or no?
  17. That’s the biggest issue here, I think. That the refs decided to flag the hold after Mahomes throws the ball into triple coverage on 3rd and forever and ONLY after seeing that the pass was intercepted.
  18. It wasn’t a total phantom, but maaaan was it ticky tack on 3rd and 22 and extremely late.
  19. No way should Hall have been tackled in the open field like that.
  20. Burrow is having an underwhelming season so far, but he’s a much better QB than what he’s showing. He doesn’t go from second in conversation to merely “good” after a string of bad performances. Would he be struggling this badly if he never injured the calf and had a full training camp/preseason? I doubt it. I hope the Bengals end up something like 8-9 and just miss the playoffs because Burrow is more than capable of completely turning it around.
  21. Go back and watch the game. The Bills OL pass blocked pretty well, they weren’t the dumpster fire the 5 sacks would indicate. A lot of blame falls on Josh for that pressure.
  22. Not sure how Vegas determines those +/-payouts. Nick Wright (or wrong) posted a parlay bet a couple weeks ago that was something like +4500. The bet was that both the Commanders (vs DEN) and the Giants (vs AZ) would come back to win after trailing big. Both had to happen for the bet to hit and wouldn’t you know it, they did. Why was Nick Wright bragging? Because he put $500 on the parlay. That weird nose dude hit over $20,000 on that bet!
  23. Frazier’s defense was frustratingly soft against capable offenses. No way do the Bills hold Miami to 20 pts if he was calling the defense today.
  24. If you bet on the Jags straight up and they lost, you’d lose your bet. If you bet them to cover the point spread, you win. I believe the cover bet is a 1:1, bet $100 to win $200 total (which includes your original bet). If you bet $100 on the Jags to win straight up, it’d depend on what the payout was. If its +150 on a Jags win, you win $150 on that $100 bet. $250 total. Conversely, if the Bills are -180, you’d have to bet $180 to win $100, $280 total. Over/under is simply the total amount of points scored by both teams. I believe that payout is also 1:1, someone correct me if I’m wrong.
  25. They said the same about the 2007 Patriots and this 9ers team is nowhere near that powerful. Prepare to be disappointed with their 19-0 quest…
