  1. I’d like to see a limit of 5 myself. Makes it even more special and exclusive to be named.
  2. He was exaggerating. Even the lowest practice squad player makes close to $100,000/yr. NFL league minimum is like $700,000.
  3. If he wasn’t in the long term plans, it’d be a shrewd move, but one that I’d support, provided the coaches were comfortable with Bernard stepping into that role, of course.
  4. And if he’s not in the long term plans, I’ll be disappointed if they don’t consider trading him by the deadline.
  5. Was Dorsey in the booth or on the sidelines against CAR?
  6. Haack apparently had a hugely successful debut punting against the Bucs. Colts announcers were gushing over him and saying he needed a nickname. At least for Haack he gets to punt in a dome. He can’t handle the elements.
  7. Hopefully the team moves past this rather fast and gets back to focusing on the season. I have no doubt it’s like a gray cloud hanging over them right now, they just lost a teammate and it wasn’t due to his on the field performance. As far as Araiza, at the very least he’s an idiot for putting himself in a situation where he could be accused. I’ll be interested to see how it all plays out and if Araiza is found to be completely innocent of all rape related charges, I cannot fault the Bills for cutting ties. Too much of a distraction.
  8. You said it… circumstances. It’s the difference between a player being thought of as “very good” versus “elite.” Had we drafted Rob Gronkowski in the 2nd round all those moons ago, rather than Torrell Troup, Gronkowski doesn’t go on to have the same impact in the NFL. He would’ve had JP Losman, Trent Edwards, EJ Manuel, etc throwing him the football instead of arguably the greatest QB of all time. In that same vein he would’ve been considered a “very good” player on the Bills, but I’m not sure if he even makes it to a pro bowl. Circumstances. Maybe Gesicki hasn’t learned to block because the prior regime was content to use him as a big WR. It’s what he does very well. Seems like he has plenty of attitude and nasty, so blocking may be something he could learn. He’s not there yet and it doesn’t sound like the Dolphins have the patience to wait. He’s not gonna “arrive” in one offseason anyway, at least not to what the HC finds acceptable for his offense.
  9. For a guy who’s almost 6’6” and 250 pounds, those numbers are impressive for a TE or WR. Over a 40in vertical as well. I feel he’d be a matchup nightmare in the Bills offense, could you imagine Josh Allen throwing him the ball instead of Tua? 🤯 I’d be afraid of him with any upper echelon QB throwing him the football, he has killed us with subpar QB play.
  10. Typical eball, don’t pay him much mind.
  11. The Bills make his highlights 4 times, but the play at 0:37 where he burned Hyde on 4th and 6 really pissed me off because the Dolphins were doing absolutely nothing on offense until that point. Felt like an answered prayer.
  12. You could add Gabe Davis to that list as well.
  13. He looks slow because he’s so long and lanky, but the guy has wheels. An elite speed grade and an insane 3 cone, so he’s got quickness. Athleticism was never a question with him. https://ras.football/2019/12/15/mike-gesicki-ras-16703/
  14. He has an insane catch radius and outstanding hands, but as others have said, is more of a big WR than inline TE.
  15. I think their 10 QBs atop the list in accuracy is questionable. No Josh Allen, but Kyler Murray?
  16. He does amongst the players, but only when upset. There’s videos of him yelling where some of his words were bleeped out. I think he’s such a man of faith and Christian values that foul language isn’t a part of his every day vocabulary. EDIT: there have also been post game victory speeches where part of his language was bleeped out.
  17. It’s unfortunate the Panthers didn’t select Ford in the 2nd as Beane had feared. I wonder who the Bills would’ve picked if he was gone… DK Metcalf?
  18. Wanting to start and earning the right to start are two completely different things. #theprocess
  19. Seems like it’s always the same people arguing in these threads
  20. It’s to throw off the censors so that the video doesn’t get flagged for copyright infringement. Almost all videos that are not uploaded by the source will have something extra for this. Videos with music will do this as well, some speed up the song, others manipulate the length.
  21. They’ve been singing Bernard’s praises, actually. Early in OTAs he was making plays. Tremaine said he had an INT and that the LBers were battling for playmaking bragging rights - they had/have some sort of competition going on between them. When pressed by the media on who was winning that competition, Tremaine said he’d keep that in house. In training camp there’s been a lot of talk about Bernard’s speed and his instincts. Supposedly he makes a decision and goes with it, fast. There was something coming out about him every other day in fact, that I’m surprised you missed it. Im sure all those tweets are still around. I didn’t study him in the first game, but I know he had the scoop and score, I came away thinking Spector had the bigger impact. Bernard was quiet this past game against the Broncos, not sure how many snaps he played and Dodson went in ahead of him in 3 LB sets, but the Bills have stated they’re grooming him to play all three spots, and he’s currently backing up Tremaine on the depth chart. I think Bernard is coming along nicely and could be Tremaine’s replacement next year.
  22. I wonder what assets Jets HC Robert Saleh would trade for him. He did call Edmunds a “unicorn” and said the league hasn’t seen someone like him since the likes of Brian Urlacher…
  23. He is certainly much more disciplined on QB keepers or bootlegs than Mario Addison ever was.
  24. He doesn’t have “nasty” in him, or what some describe as “that dog.” When Von Miller said he was feeding Groot gunpowder and gasoline to bring out the beast, I was thinking Tremaine needed to be on that same diet. It’s fine to be a soft spoken player if you make your presence felt on the field, Jerry Rice was that way, but it’s probably tougher to do when your job is to attack. Who was the last quiet LBer who was a force? Chris Spielman?
  25. We have too many RBs for a pass-first offense as it is. Give me Kyle Williams.
