Gailey may not necessarily use a RB committee?
Ramius replied to Stevie Ray's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What a waste of an article. Way to look up some simple numbers and spout off 1000 words on absolutely nothing, without any semblance of research or analysis. But thats par for the course for ESPN. -
I can answer any questions or concerns about Ponder. I'd say that he's the most NFL-ready QB in college right now, and i think he's capable of starting from day 1 for a team.

How does it verify? MY old FSU email is still active, i wonder if i can use it to score prime free for a year.

The corruption of youth and the failure of family values.

And before you know it, there are 10,000 of them posting here. -
So the past 10 seasons are to be heaped on Gailey and company? Its a new start under an overhauled staff. Expecting them to win immediately is extremely short-sighted. If they do, that's great, if they don't, its only 1 season under Gailey. I don't care what the past seasons brought. The slate is clean now and we are starting over. Better to take a couple of years and re-build right as opposed to trying the constant one-year instant fixes you are suggesting.

One writer thinks T.O. is washed up

Then do it with them as well. There's a reason why often times the highest and lowest values are tossed out. They are outliers. And you can't rely on outliers for an accurate prediction. -

Its not taking anything away, its point out a fact. You need to break down his production to see what you really got. When such a huge % of his production came on one play, that raises red flags. TO simply doesn't have it anymore. He'd make a decent #2 for some team needing a vet presence, but he can't be relied on. You want a guy who had that big a % of his season stats racked up in 1 game? What about the other 15? -
Rams looking to give Bradford $45-50MM guaranteed

I'll take that action. You're going to be sorely disappointed when the Bills aren't picking in the top 5. -
If LeBron James doesn't re-sign with Cleveland...
Ramius replied to Buftex's topic in Off the Wall Archives
LeBron has given me someone to hate moreso than Kobe. Something i never thought would happen. He's nothing but a sore loser, a quitter, a piss poor winner, and a classless, self-promoting, narcissistic piece of ****. -
Jeremy Green was a garbage analyst and a piece of **** before this happened, so this should come as no surprise.

Well, i don't focus on OL play when i watch the games, but i can tell you that our OL had steadily improved in the past few years. This coincides with his development. Its now a huge strength on our offense. Hudson has been a rock, and you never hear his name called for anything bad. According to the numbers, he's given up 1.5 sacks and been called for 1 penalty in his 3 seasons here. The guy started 10 games as a freshman and never left the lineup. From everything i can tell, he's an absolute beast. Also of note is that he has played his entire career here under Jimbo Fisher and Rick Trickett, so he's been under the new offensive system. He's been a zone blocker here, and wasn't "tainted" by the end of the Bowden years.

Good to see Christian Ponder on the list. He's not too well known in most college circles because of his lack of numbers, but his rating verifies that lots of NFL folks think highly of him.

wr Chris Henry - evidence of prior brain damage

As someone who spent a year working in a neuroscience lab, listen to transient. He knows what he's talking about. As usual, WEO is talking out of his ass, and literally has no clue about what he's saying. -
Looking back, i was one who heaped blame on fairchild, but it was probably Jauron who forced fairchild to go with a more conservative offense. After Turk's comments last season when he got fired, i believe him (even if he was overmatched). Jauron has never had good offensive coordinators. I believe it is a combination of his inability to find one worth a damn, and even if the guy he found had potential, he'd ruin them with his ultra-conservative style. Two things dick jauron excelled at: preventing the development of any young coaches/players, and putting those players and coaches in the worst possible position to succeed.

On the other hand, it makes the team a lot of fun to build your own way in franchise mode. -
If Brandi Chastain doesn't take off her shirt when she scored the winner, no one would remember the '99 women's team either.

My Edwards bashing is a direct shot at Bill, who still can't leave the attacks on losman alone. Edwards is no better than Losman. Pinning team records on a QB is the height of stupidity and immediately invalidates any argument. Edwards has failed for the same reasons Losman did. the failure of the coaching staff to put him in a position to succeed. (That an the ultra-conservative jauron forcing edwards to simply check down and making him afraid of throwing the ball past the LOS) And you still have yet to explain why the Bills moved away from an offense that Losman has some success in, as if they set him up to have 0 chance of success.

Free rubbers for Tots in Provincetown, Mass
Ramius replied to stuckincincy's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Agreed. My mom is a teacher. I've seen how much she spends out of pocket for the classroom. Again, the problem is weeding out crappy and worthless teachers. You could poll the teachers in my mom's building, and they'll all point to the same 3-4 absolutely crappy teachers as being a problem. Unfortunately, there's no way to get rid of them. -

Not sure where they are getting that figure from, but the vast majority of teachers make nowhere near that amount. It is inflated by the worthless 70 year olds making 90k per year and it probably includes the private schools that can afford to pay that much. I've seen the pay scale here in florida. Teachers start off in the mid 20s and its at least 10 years before they hit 40. The "annualized" argument is nothing but a strawman. Teachers are salaried, so that doesn't take into account time spent evenings and weekends prepping materials and lesson plans for class, etc.
