  1. So she wants men to wear cod pieces?
  2. And yet in the last dozen years, he managed to put up the second best season of any Bills QB during that span (behind 2002 Bledsoe). Your gloved porcelain boy wonder hasn't even come close to replicating Losman's 2006 success.
  3. Dead on. We've even got a thread declaring Maybin a bust. A 22 year old who barely played in one season is a bust because some other guy won the DROY and a different had more sacks. Along with the instant gratification, too many posters wish to make everything black or white. If a guy wasn't an all-pro, he sucks and needs to be cut immediately. Most posters cannot comprehend that Bell was in over his head last season, but that with some development, he might be a decent tackle. We all knew he was raw, and he was tossed in the fire too soon. But just because he wasn't ready to go last season doesn't mean he won't ever be ready to go. Relying on him to man the LT position for 16 games at a high level would be a mistake. But, relying on him to contribute this season is perfectly within reason. It's blatantly obvious that dick jauron was and still is completely incapable of developing young talent. Perhaps this coaching staff will actually work with the young guys instead of benching them for washed up veterans.
  4. Not a team for theatrics? Did you happen to catch extra time? What a pathetic piss poor display of sportsmanship. !@#$ ghana. I hope Uruguay wins 5-0. As for kickball, see you again in 2014.
  5. !@#$ ghana. So if you get a yellow and play the next game clean, your yellow essentially gets wiped out?
  6. What a shocker, a Ghana player needs his tampon changed.
  7. I believe you are limited to 3 subs for the game.
  8. One more WC question, regarding the yellow cards. Is it 2 yellows in consecutive games gets you the boot for the next one, or is it 2 yellows in the entire tournament gets you the boot?
  9. And here we go again.
  10. Any reason why Feilhaber isn't in the lineup? I thought he played excellently last game off the bench. Is he simply more of an offensive threat?
  11. Are the Bills or any of the AFL teams going to be wearing these again this season? Or was it just a 1 year thing because of the AFL 50th anniversary? I know we'll be wearing the throwback blues for a couple of games, but i love the whites as well and would love to see them worn a couple times too.
  12. Numbers completely dependent on who is throwing the ball. Jerry frickin Rice wouldn't put up any numbers in the pop-gun offense we've been running the past few seasons.
  13. Teachers are underpaid. So are firemen and policemen, etc. The only teachers that could be considered overpaid are the ones that have been in the system for 30 years and are making ridiculous bank. The problems aren't overpaid teachers. The problems are that there are way too many parents that expect school to do all the work and parenting for them and that there is no effective method to weed out ****ty teachers.
  14. Evans is untouchable. If case you haven't noticed, he's the only proven NFL WR we currently have on the roster. I'm high on some of the young guys, especially Stevie Johnson, but they are no where near Evans' class. At no point during this season will Evans' #1 status be in jeopardy. Just because a guy knows he's the locked #1 WR doesn't mean he's all of a sudden going to slack off. Evans has never done this in the past so why would he start now?
  15. There's also this outlandish possibility that the Bills staff took a look at the film and thought that there was room for improvement from our young tackles. We are after all, talking about 1st and 2nd year players.
  16. Basically every teacher i know only gets paid 10 months a year.
  17. People don't get upset because you say something negative. They get upset because you're nothing but a douchebag.
  18. Thanks. I agree that JP wouldn't have been the next Kelly. But he did show some signs of life and something to build on in 2006, and then was denied a real opportunity to see if he could build on it. I don't know how well or poorly JP would have played in '07 and '08 if they had run a system to his strengths. But they didn't. Playing off your analogy, you're never going to know how good or bad of a chef someone is if you force them to cook a 5 star meal using only a microwave. The QB problems just highlight the massive amount of issuess and the terrible terrible road that dick jauron took this team down.
  19. North, Central America and the Carribean.
  20. I've got Bioshock for the PS3 and i'm not impressed. It's a decent game, but i'm not all gaga over it like everyone else is. Adding to the game list, Rainbow 6 Vegas is a great game.
  21. If you can win by running, why keep passing. The Ravens did the exact same thing in 2008 with Flacco. If you can win by pounding the ball, and preventing your young QB from airing it out 30 times a game, then by all means do it.
  22. Explain why, after Losman has a breakthrough-type of year in 2006, the Bills simply shut everything down in 2007. Anyone with a brain (obviously not Dick Jauron), would have continued to do what had made them previously successful. The idiots jauron and fairchild didn't. The point isn't to argue whether or not Losman would have done well had the Bills kept the 2006 system in place. The point is that the Bills did not formulate a gameplan to give their QB in the best chance for success. This is simply inexcusable, They did not put Losman in the best possible position to succeed, something that was a recurring theme during jauron's 3.5 year reign of horror in Buffalo.
  23. Yeah. Because we all know that a player's potential and abilities when he is drafted remain the same, and that coaching (or lack thereof) has nothing to do with player development. Every player drafted into the NFL will perform exactly the same regardless of the situation they are in.
  24. Trading with them is fine, you usually get some good deals. But asking their help to cross the river is usually a rip-off. Most of the time they want 10-20% of your money left over. (if you aren't a kitty and play as a carpenter)
  25. Thats ok. It'll all get better as soon as Bass Pro moves in.
