  1. Food for thought. Are Young, Bush, Leinhart those one in a generation players, that you have to make moves to trade up to get? I'm not saying I want one of those players on the Bills, but would Bush be better than Willis? Would Young or Leinhart be better than J.P.? As for trading down, although I see the point and validity of it, it still drives me nuts! I think instead of stockpiling picks, Free Agency is still probably the most viable option of fixing what ails you.
  2. What Willis said is looking at the glass half full, unlike some (not all) Bills fans, who always see the glass half empty.
  3. J.P. is having growing pains, but he is growing! He looks like he makes strides in becoming a very good quarterback every week! Bledsoe threw 3 passes right into the ground, behind the line of scrimmage, without anyone around him. Caused the Giants winning Touchdown by handing off to Julius Jones, right on his left hip! What would you rather have? I'd take today, as hard as it is, than trusting the offense to the droid.
  4. That idea isn't as dumbass as some of the posts here today. To say that today's game is in the grand scheme of things to move the Bills out of Buffalo? Idiotic...
  5. Let me just highlight this as one of the most embarassing things I have ever read. I'm embarassed to be a Bills fan. Not because of the team, but for commentary like this. Seriously. There's a football team in Hamilton, Ontario that would love to have you as a season ticket holder.
  6. Nah. Compare this to SB XXVII. THAT was embarassing!
  7. Did you people NOT see him own the Chargers with his kickoff returns? I was there, and he was truly one of the only bright spots in an otherwise dull afternoon (football wise).
  8. This is the first time that I was unable to perform with my wife in bed, and I put the blame squarly on this loss. There. How's that?
  9. New Orleans will be in L.A. No chance for Buffalo to be relocated there.
  10. Watching the game from the now torn down American Sports Bar and Grill on Transit Road. There were about 1500 people there for the beginning of the game, and there were 500 left at half time. When Christie kicked the FG in overtime, you couldn't move! A family right in front of me hugged, and fell right to the ground. Waitresses were dancing on the tables. I think the bar stopped charging people for drinks but I'm not sure on that. I do know it was just an amazing time!
  11. Bottom line, as long as Moulds catches the ball and scores touchdowns, I don't care if he likes to bang midgets straped to the goalposts, or whatever he likes. Just perform. (Of course, you could say that to the dancers in Niagara Falls, and it would still apply).
  12. That comment by JP could piss off some of those who have been vocal of JP. I know I'm up too late, and over thinking things, but I see nothing more than a bunch of grown men wanting to win, win badly, and win now. I see no problems with that!! A nice revision of the "Bickering Bills". We know what happened with the Bickering Bills, Part I.
  13. Holcomb was efficent. Not spectacular. I think the playcalling and offensive gameplan was just idiotic.
  14. If you wanted an ex-Bill to coach the QB or Offense... Frank Reich would be a far better choice than Kelly, because Reich studied the game a lot more than Kelly did. If you were able to combine Kelly's physical gifts at his prime, with Reich's understanding of the QB position?
  15. I was thinking more along the lines of John Tesh...
  16. I'd like to buy 200 shares of the Edmonton Eskimos please.
  17. Listening to the sports out here about this (KGO), it was more of a situation where Winborn was unhappy about loosing his starting job to Andre Carter. Winborn then refused to play in the new Mike Nolan system. It was Winborn who asked to be traded. Nolan told him that he would accomidate him, and that he should clean out his locker as to not be a distraction, in which Winborn agreed. Many 49er players interviewed said that this was not a punishment by Winborn. It was nothing more than a coach and a disgruntled player reaching an agreement about the players future.
  18. I was going to make a perspective comment, but after reading your signature, I can't say nothing but great things about you.
  19. Was listening to KHTK (after Don and Mike), the idiot Grant Napier was singing the praises of Eli Manning, gave him an A for his performance yesterday, etc. One thing he did say that caught my interest, is that he mentioned that he had seen Eli play every game, winning one of eight games, playing horribly in his first 5. I started to think to JP. This is only his third game. He hasn't looked that good in the last two. So, the questions are this. Are we pannicking too much about JP's performance? Should we give the kid more time to get his NFL bearings? Or is the writing on the wall about JP already?
  20. Jim Kelly was 4-12 in his first year. He, and the Bills, turned out pretty damn good. Reality check third line.
  21. J.P. Created everything. He's soooo powerful, he should change his name from J.P. to J.C.
