For what it's worth, I received my Medical Marijuana Card when I lived in California in 2012. I went to a dispensary in Berkeley to get my first (and as it turns out, only) fill of medical cannabis. It was like a McDonalds of Weed. Different buds in display cases, and LED monitors giving the different varieties with pricing hanging from the ceiling. In regards to driving, when I bought my weed from this dispensary, they asked me if I had ever purchased from them before. When I said no, they invited me to their hash bar in the back for a free hit of hash. I walked to my car after the hit, and for the next 2 hours I drove around Berkeley in a giant circle, finally pulling over and having to GPS my home address because I couldn't figure out how to get home. So from my own personal experience, there is a thing about buzzed driving being drunk driving.

I've been to both places. If they let ME in, most certainly they would let you in. The courtyard in between Resurgence and the distillery is nice. You can have your drinks/food at one of their picnic tables (if a party of middle aged men and women don't take up 3 tables, like my friends and I did the last time we were there).

The topic of diverting water is so LA County. Los Angeles residents water their lawns 3 times daily, while Mono Lake which was a thriving tourist destination in the early 1900's is now a salt lake, much like most of the Central Valley which has had their water diverted to Los Angeles.

Go down to the Inner Harbor, near Keybank Center. They've done quite a bit of renovation down there. Really relaxing spot. More for a daytime activity. Pearl St Grill is a nice food option. In the Seneca Tower, they have the bar from the Bada Bing/Sorprano's in their lobby, and you can sit and have a drink at said bar. As for nightlife, sadly nothing much to think of. Chippewa is for the early 20 something crowd. Maybe Gabriel's Gate for wings, but Allen St is closed as they are completely renovating the street and sidewalks.

You know who has some of the best wings I've had in a while? The restaurant inside Hamburg Gaming on the Erie County Fair Grounds. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, good amount of sauce. Highly recommended.

I haven't tried liquid THC. I was under the impression that it would be in any form. I discussed with my psychiatrist at the time of using Cannabis as treatment for my Bipolar symptoms. She then signed a letter for me to get my medical marijuana card, and told me to smoke every day for a month and report back to her how I was doing. I also had to give her articles from non pro-cannabis publications on how cannabis would lower Bipolar symptoms. The experiment lasted 3 weeks before I had to stop.

I love the high I get from cannabis, but I can't smoke it. I have Bipolar, and cannabis enhances Bipolar symptoms. I smoke a joint and I'm in a depression for a few days after.
