  1. I hadn't heard of them wanting to do anything with the Talus slope. You would know more than me about that. I was only aware of the best way of replacing the 100 year old bridges, and shutting off the Falls was one option.
  2. It's used just to enter Canada. You can stay for as long as you want. They were going to shut it off to replace the bridges that go to Goat Island, but came up with another plan.
  3. The annoying thing is the ArriveCAN app. You need to upload your vaccination card, and present it at the border. But I've found the more I do it, the less of a hassle it is. I have all my info saved on the app, and when I want to go to Canada, it literally takes 30 seconds to fill in the info. The NEXUS card also is a game changer, but as someone said it is a multi month wait to get interviewed to be approved for it. Luckily for me I have 3 years remaining on my NEXUS card.
  4. I was hesitant to say this at first, but I really do have a stepdaughter who is a proud lesbian. She's married to a fantastic woman, and the two of them, my wife and I have gone shopping at an Adam and Eve store before.
  5. It's always dangerous to try to make a point when the conversation was dead and done.
  6. 99.9% sure they were.
  7. My stepdaughter who is a night owl volunteered to take the night shift, and go out and check the traps before her bed time (3:30 - 4 am). When she was getting ready to go out to check, there was Chloe sitting right by the door.
  8. My wife and I came up with a new TV series out of this whole thing. "Real Cat Trappers of South Cheektowaga". (We did trap another cat. Luckily we found her owner and they are reunited.)
  9. So about 3:30 am, Miss Chloe just shows up on our back patio. My stepdaughter opens the door, and Chloe gives my stepdaughter a "sup", and walks right in like nothing happened! Little stinker!!! She ate a ton and is now hard asleep.
  10. Some people plan their whole vacation around visiting said factory.
  11. He's on a weeknight vacation.
  12. Honestly I've never heard of it, but it sounds awesome!

  14. So you don't know for sure. It's always dangerous to assume things that may or may not happen.
  15. Link?
  16. Honestly I've never been to Healdsburg. The only time it gets mentioned is when it floods, which unfortunately is quite often.
  17. Good move Adams!

  19. I lived in Northern California for 13 years. My favorite spots in Wine Country is Calistoga, and Sonoma. Calistoga is a really small town but built on hot springs. Go to one of the hotels in town and soak in a hot spring pool/tub. (The hot tubs fit like 30 people). In Sonoma, lots of local shops, tasting rooms, restaurants, and the home to the Northern most Spanish Mission in California.
