They really did to all those who said it was real in replies. But more and more people kept saying it was real, so they had to make the referenced post. Locals know it was a photoshop, and they aren't a national police organization. I see no harm in what they did.

The West Seneca Police makes hilarious tweets every day. They're one of the best things on Twitter. When they need to be serious, they are, and people know to take them seriously. But the majority of their tweets are some sort of humor and that's why they are loved here.

I had a friend who for real, thought this was a legitimate picture and argued with those who said it was photoshopped. It wasn't until this was posted that she took an about face.

Poloncarz mentioned the 150-plus cars that were towed to the ECC North Campus lot in Amherst. Poloncarz said he would give an order for owners of those cars to come and get them immediately. The Amherst town supervisor strongly objected, saying they needed to take pictures of each car for insurance purposes. Poloncarz told the supervisor that ECC is County owned property and people could start coming to get them immediately. The Amherst Town Supervisor got pissed, cursed out Poloncarz, and left the Zoom meeting abruptly.

My son-in-law plows for the State. Due to staff shortages, the state only had 5 guys working to plow the Thruway from Christmas Eve to the 26th from Clarence to just past Angola.. 4 out of the 5 plows got stuck in the snow. My son-in-law was the only one who didn't get stuck. Instead of clearing the snow, it was he and his supervisor in the plow truck, with a 4x4 F250 right behind them following the plow's path. Their only mission during the height of the blizzard was to get to as many stranded motorists as possible. Many times they were plowing on the wrong way just to get to people stranded. They rescued just over 50 people. Then once more people were able to come in, they focused on clearing the snow to make the Thruway drivable.

My son-in-law works for the Thruway Authority. They currently can't put salt down on the Thruway, because the salt has frozen inside the trucks blocking the opening to spread the salt on the roadway.
