If Damar is still in ICU near game time, I would say subdued. If he is released from ICU, and we know that he is going to make a full recovery, you might see fans scale the field goal nets and jump from the top of the tunnel entrance.

I was in a serious funk over the Damar situation. Didn't care about anything much but refreshing Twitter and TBD for updates. I had no interest in football. I needed to get out of the funk. I asked Alexa to play Rush. This broke me out of my funk.

The only thing I can think of is depth. It also tells me that Benford is ready to play.

There have been quite a few of those donations. Winners of Fantasy Football leagues are donating their winnings to the charity.

The Washington Commanders as a team donated $5000 to Damar's charity. George Kittle, Andrew Whitworth, and the Seattle Seahawks donated $1000 each.

I don't really care all that much what a few jerks from opposing fan bases have to say. If this happened to a player on their team, they would feel differently.

I'm just speaking for myself, but I'm done being tough or resilient. I need something amazingly good to happen to this community. There's been too much suck since the Tops shooting.

Also the fire that killed 5 children. I think it was on Sunday.

This was said to lead off the Noon Sportscenter broadcast.

ESPN just now reported from a reporter outside the hospital. The reporter has been talking to doctors leaving the hospital. One doctor is saying we won't hear anything for 24 hours after the event because they sedate the patient and cool the body to preserve brain function. Then after 24 hours, they will begin to wake the patient. The doctor said he has seen many of the cases like what Hamlin suffered, and the prognosis is good.

Officials were also on board last night in suspending the game.

There are a hella lot of implications here. I don't want to be an NFL Official trying to decide what to do, because whatever they decide, no one is going to be happy with it.
