  1. As the game moves towards a passing-oriented league, the Bills again try to outsmart everyone else...
  2. Ok, but remember last week when Beane gave interviews saying, in substance, we wouldn't sign Boldin if we were tanking? Beane is already running out of rope.
  3. Ragland for Coates actually makes sense for both squads.
  4. Yes, he was. This place is insane.
  5. Seriously. How many dipschidts is Terry going to fall for? BRING IN A CZAR ALREADY.
  6. What? He was the FOURTH receiver in Philly.
  7. McBean came in and, despite their already thin margin for error, made it even harder for themselves right off the bat. For no reason.
  8. This thread sucks and your spelling sucks.
  9. This is hilarious.
  10. Clearly he meant "heil"...
  11. The time to pick a QB high was last year, and the year before, and the year before that, and basically every year for the past 20 years.
  12. Yeah - maybe next year the Bills will draft a QB. Or not? After all, I'm sure they'll fall in love with a cornerback-safety combo for their two #1s. So maybe 2019? The Bills are playing checkers while the rest of the league is playing chess. Hell, the Bills are in the corner eating paste, watching the Browns play checkers.
  13. He can't spell "heal." He spelled it wrong four - FOUR - times today. I mean, whatever your political views are, that has to get to you a little bit. He's an ape. Hell, I bet there are apes that can spell "heal." Freakin' Joe Six Pack probably can spell it, even.
  14. McD and Bean already are indicating that they're in way over their heads. Trading away the best player on the team a few weeks before the season was an insane move - even if justified from a business perspective (and I'd argue it wasn't), you can't underestimate the psychological impact it has on Tyrod and the rest of the team. McD couldn't afford that kind of crisis. It was a huge mistake. On the field I see no evidence of a coherent or sensible plan on offense. The lack of discipline suggests the players have NOT bought in despite what we hear. This season is gearing up to be another mess.
  15. McD and Dennison forcing Tyrod to run a timing offense is similar to Rex dropping Dareus into coverage.
  16. Streater updates? I hardly know 'er!
  17. That is a stupid thing to debate. There are two hundred plus years of Supreme Court jurisprudence that carefully and, in my view, appropriately outline the limits of the First Amendment (including, specifically, where protected speech crosses over into direct incitements of violence). There is no societal value added from having subhumans and sociopaths debate each other about that well-settled issue on the flea-infested taint of a football message board. And in any event, it's an entirely separate issue from what the role of the President of the United States should be when speaking about such divisive issues during divisive times like these...
  18. I wasn't referring to you... but... Suspending their rights? Unilaterally? No. Nor do I think that's really what any of this has to do with.
  19. So another thread with the same four unemployed idiots spouting the same drivel?
  20. Do you think he's honest with his bosses about that? I don't. I think he hedges.
  21. Keep this up and you'll have the Most Improved Poster award locked up by midseason. Good stuff.
  22. I haven't read all of this thread but - this is what Marrone does, this is his playbook to a "t." He sets himself up for leveraged failure where he either (i) fails and has a ready scapegoat ("You gave me Blake Bottles, what do you think I am, a miracle worker?"); or (ii) succeeds against all odds and is anointed a miracle worker. He did this in Buffalo, quickly shredding the confidence of EJ and setting him up to fail, and now he's done it again in Jax, abusing his QB in press conference after press conference. I'm not saying EJ or Bortles are any good - they aren't. But with Marrone at the helm, neither of them ever had a chance, anyway.
  23. Because I suspect that the owner was already promised by McBean that this would NOT be a throwaway season.
