  1. Would not be at all surprised by Bresee or Mazi (Star) Smith. They simply do not trust their ability to evaluate talent on offense.
  2. Definitely a lot of Diggs in those highlights, with some Deebo mixed in.
  3. If the draft falls this way I don’t know who in the room is going to talk McBeane out of Mazi Smith - they simply won’t be able to help themselves.
  4. Using their first-round pick on a 25 year-old QB coming off an ACL injury who fumbled 39 times (!) in college is just about the dumbest idea in the history of the internet. In the fourth or fifth round - sure.
  5. You will never go broke drafting pass rushers. Perfectly fine with this.
  6. If Beane takes Gibbs in the first it will crush my soul.
  7. Got me thinking - does LaPorta’s Pizza still exist?
  8. He looks like Poz in those clips. Not a first round pick. High floor but lower ceiling.
  9. Yet look at all the action it’s gonna spur on here - Florio is good at what he does. Also - his stories are often based on tips/prods from agents. He’s usually not the first to spark the smoke.
  10. Joe B’s Athletic article today: Lions get Nos. 27 and 137, Bills get Nos. 48, 55, 183, 194 Bills picks after trade: Nos. 48, 55, 59, 91, 130, 183, 194, 205 Bills pick Campbell at 48, Marvin Mims at 55, Antonio Johnson at 59.
  11. This is not true at all. Philips may have the body type of a run stuffer but that’s never been his game, he’s a penetrator/passrusher. Oliver is a far better run stopper despite being smaller.
  12. Agreed this would be completely on-brand. And the Bills are a year away from having no DTs under contract and probably also moving on from one or both safeties and Tre White. Doubtful Epinesa gets a second contract here so you’ve got a hole there too. Another defense-heavy draft should not be a surprise.
  13. Ted Thompson absolutely, 100% was a failure. With the QB talent he had, in a crappy division, he should've steered that team to dynasty-level status.
  14. I think even Beane would admit he's been a failure to date. They don't give out participation trophies, or Cap Management Executive of the Year awards. It's Lombardi or bust, and being afraid to take bold steps because it may cost an extra $2-$3M or a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick is extremely shortsighted and the quickest way to be out of a job.
  15. Ha really? I know you've become the most vocal regime apologist on TSW but even you should be concerned if they end up going into the season with Allen and a bunch of spare parts on offense. I know, I know, hE tRaDeD a fIRsT fOr dIgGs... I will withhold judgement until September but if the offense doesn't get a significant talent upgrade across the board - other than this bizarre Goldilocks routine with running backs - it's a very bad look for the GM.
