  1. I figured he was waiting to see how Dallas turned out in this year's playoffs.
  2. That was genius, pure genius. “Far the past fackin’ decade, ow-ah beloved footbawll Red Sawx were-ah the DAWNINANT FARCE in the fackin’ National Nawt Baseball League!”
  3. The PIT O-line was pretty badass when he coached them. ARI has had a very good O-line since he and Whisenhut arrived, even utilizing our cast-off Mike Gandy. Coincidentally (or maybe not), both PIT and ARI have been very good teams when he was associated with those organizations. Both went to the SB. Has Minn gone to the SB with Frazier's D?
  4. Then we're really fooked.
  5. Don't be. When we hire Russ Grimm as HC and you finally see the type of football you've been wanting to see for years (tough, hard-nosed, dominating running game and OL), you will count this day as a blessing.
  6. I think both Schotty Junior and Cowher are waiting to see what happens in Dallas.
  7. Best thing that could have happened. Now hire Russ Grimm!
  8. Love the article. I love it. Hire this man as HC immediately! We will get a tough, no-BS football team. I can guarantee that Fred Jackson won't be throwing a halfback option on 3rd and 1 at Miami with Grimm as HC.
  9. I repost my thoughts from another thread. Grimm is a guy I've wanted for a LONG time. Lets start with the obvious: the Bills cannot pick HCs. Lets see who can pick HCs...Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh had 3 finalists for HC..Mike Tomlin, Ken Whisenhut and Grimm. Whisenhut took the Arizona HC job because he was the odd man out. Came down to Grimm vs. Tomlin, Pitt liked both guys and took Tomlin (Rooney Rule?). Since, both Tomlin and Whisenhut have taken their teams to the SB. If the Pitts Steelers, IMHO the best top-to-bottom organization in pro football, considered Grimm to be a finalist for their HC job, I'm not too proud to accept their table scraps for my team. Grimm was mentioned ever earlier (2004, I think) as a candidate for the Bears job, he interviewed, was offered but balked when the Bears mgmt wanted to pick his staff. Grimm would help us build a tough OL with a strong running game, critical elements necessary to win in the Buffalo weather. We have, already, a decent defense that could use another piece or two to help with run-stuffing, but was otherwise outstanding vs. the pass this year. They were also on the field for more plays than any other unit. If we built a strong OL and strong running game, which I believe Grimm would do, it would only give our D more of a chance to be effective as they would be on the field much less. Next, our best WR is a good deep threat, not much more. If we had a good running game, it should open up the bomb for Evans, no matter who is throwing the ball as the safeties come up in run support. Grimm would lessen the need to find the next Jim Kelly (a task we have whiffed at for 13 seasons) and focus on running the ball and defense. Kind of like how the Jets did this year. Thats my hope and why I'm advocating Grimm for HC.
  10. Iron Man was fantastic. Hoping Iron Man 2 is just as good.
  11. Take today's Wall Street Journal back in time and give it to my 1997 self. Profit! Then buy the Bills when Wilson dies (and keep them in Buffalo), spending all my WS cash like Jerry Jones till we win a SB.

  13. Unless he brings Daddy to coach the team, forget it. Give me the Grimm reaper!
  14. I figured that type of info was not available in links. But your suggestion that TM was pushing for certain players over others was detailed enough to cause me to wonder. Funny, I thought the Bills organization had opened up a bit since Donahoe left. Donahoe was the one who went all "Captain Queeg" in his final days regarding signs brought by the fans and control of information. Was Guy involved with the draft at all? I don't think so, and believe the draft was a Ralph/Brandon/Jauron/TM show, but could be wrong. Who does TM like this year? Hopefully, a LT prospect.
  15. Of all the coordinator options, Grimm is the one I want the most. Totally on board with this.
  16. This is one helluva post. I gotta ask you where you get your information from. Not denying its veracity, but just wondering where it comes from.
  17. You can walk into any bar in PA and walk out with 6 packs. Some bars even have a good sleection. Philly is very cool (never lived only visted multiple times when friends were in school there). Congrats on the new job! I know its been a long time coming.
  18. Cowher consistently had the best talent in the NFL, supported by one of the best organizational structures, and consistently was schooled by Bill Belicheat. I too will pass.
  19. Go Boise! Wait, thats next week's title game right? Er...oh well.
  20. I gotta ask you for a link on the Maybin info. That is far too explosive to just take at face value. If that was all Jauron, it would absolve Guy/Modrak/Nix from blame for that pick. Please provide something.
  21. If we address LT in free agency (Mankins?), I'm totally on board with getting both McClain and Cody. Pretty nasty front 7 we would have.... Kelsay/Maybin Stroud Williams/Cody Schobel Mitchell McClain Poz Lots of combinations there.
  22. I stand corrected, thought it was this year's 1st.
  23. Long time before I'll buy one. Yeah, thats $10,000 right there. And the technology behind it is bull ****. You should have been able to watch with the cardboard movie glasses rather than the expensive glasses. A good article on this is here.
  24. As much as I like McClain, big guys over smaller guys...Mount Cody! And how much of McClain's success is attributable to Mount Cody keeping 2-3 guys tied up? Not saying McClain isn't good, but give me the point of attack guy. And Draftek should consider that the Pats* pick right before us, not Oakland, due to the trade of Richard Seymour.
  25. Tick...tick...tick bye-bye 60 and hello filibuster! There is a chance... http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_con...senate_election
