I remember that play and series. I believe it was a Sunday night game on TNT. If you watch the preceding play, Odoms leads Gault out of bounds and he's watching how Gault is holding the ball. Next play he strips the ball and runs it back for the TD.

Pittsburgh actually did this back in the 90's. I believe it was Tommy Maddox (or maybe O'Donnell) 'between the 20's' then Kordell Stewart once in the red zone. It was very strange and I don't recall if it really worked very well but they would change QBs once they got into the red zone.
