  1. My sig line says it all. I have refused to purchase the new jerseys (home or road). They're awful. I am hoping that the new jersey is a true "throwback" with helmets. If so, I will then purchase a jersey.
  2. It "Here I Go Again" by Whitesnake, one of my favs. Also... Land of Confusion - Genesis Girls, Girls, Girls - Motley Crue Right Now - Van Halen and that Peter Gabriel video with the claymation
  3. Not even a question. Absolutely. With proper training and an experienced guide, you try to minimize the risk as much as possible, tho it will always be there.
  4. Darin- That was funny. Check out this site as well, absolutely hysterical. http://www.rupissed.com/hangoverintensity.html
  5. Thats pretty cool. I miss hockey.
  6. Posts like this make me keep coming back to TBD everyday to read this board.
  7. Man, I guess Shelton was really a bad player. I don't know much about him, but for TD to have absolutely no interest in a LT with starting experience signed to a cap friendly deal, whose cousin is already on the team and is a team leader and hard worker, man Shelton must have rubbed someone the wrong way.

  9. There are many rumors. But whatever really happened, I wish Nolan luck and hope he makes it back to the NHL. He really was a terrific coach and the Sabres really played hard for him.
  10. TH & a 2nd in 06 for Haynesworth....I like it!!
  11. I agree we did very well. I think 3 years from now we will have 4 starters from this draft (Parrish, Everett, Geisinger & Preston) which considering the weakness of the draft is a damn good job. I just wish we had a LT :-(
  12. And I'm still not sold on Ron Edwards. LT and DT. Anthony Bryant was available.
  13. Labatt - Any deal for TH?
  14. Allright, we can make this a mock thread. Here's mine... TH dealt to Philly for #35 overall. 2nd rd (35) Ben Wilkerson - C - LSU 2nd rd (55) Adam Terry - LT - Syracuse 3rd rd (86) Anthony Bryant - DT - Alabama 4th rd (122) Vincent Jackson - WR - Northern Colorado 5th rd (156) Antonio Perkins - CB - Oklahoma 6th rd (197) Leroy Hill - LB - Clemson 7th rd (236) Paul Jefferson - FB - Penn State
  15. Kinda like our blues don't match....
  16. I usually shoot mid-80s now. I had a pretty good stretch a few years back, when I was in school and had more time. I used to shoot in the high 70s, playing almost exclusively at Elma Meadows. Best round there was a 74.
  17. I'm a Securities Attorney prosecuting bad brokerage firms and brokers.
  18. Moving up 20 picks in the 2nd round should not cost you a proven, pro-bowl RB. C'mon now thats a little much. If Philly threw in a 3rd or 4th rounder, or maybe a player, then fine. Exactly. They get a much needed OL along with moving up 11 spots. A MUCH better deal than the other one.
  19. Thats awful. Henry AND our 2nd rounder for their 2nd rounder???? Ughh, I hope that deal isn't done.
  20. Not bad ideas. I don;t like dealing NC, though. Would you then play Baas at C and Teague at LT? Is that better than Shelton at LT and Teague at C, with Spemcer or Baas being groomed to take over when Teague's contract runs out?
  21. NC will be the one true superstar that TD drafted and will now have a decision on. Its his first real star call and could set the tone for the likes of McGahee, JP, Evans, and the re-signing of some of our defensive players. Don't do it because a top ten pick will want huge money to sign. Why not give the huge money to the known superstar?
  22. Mike friggin Gandy as the starter at LT??? I can't see that happening. If it does, TD ought to be tarred & feathered when JP gets mauled by Abraham or Taylor.
  23. OK, is Stamer the answer then? I think we could use more playmaking out of that OLB slot. And Posey is making some $$, which we will need to re-sign the rest of our D in the Armageddon 06 offseason. So, do you think that Stamer could step up and be a bit of a playmaker from that slot? Not sure he has the speed, but he does have the guts. Thoughts?
