You've got to be kidding me??? So, now the gov't should be restricting legal activities in housing projects? The gov't is mych too intrusive and invasive as it is and you want it to become moreso?

I agree about the bar exam, and I understand that most people didn't like law school. I loved it. I went to UB and basically, it was an extension of college. I had a good group of friends and we basically went out every nite to hook up with college girls.
-
Trust me, no you don't. I've been out of law school for five years, and not a day goes by that I wish I wasn't still back there. It was a blast. You'll have the rest of your life to work, enjoy the moment.

Damn. I guess that did go wrong. Happy Birthday????

A couple things...was Jennifer John's wife or daughter? Secondly, the Nolan thing is similar to Art Shell. Minority, ex-coach of the year, no other offers etc., and now Shell is back. Nolan will get one more shot and hopefully he makes the best of it. I liked him.

The articles are actually quite spectacular if you are a sports fan. Some of them just make you stop and pause. You really can not get that quality of writing on the net. I've had the subscription for almost 20 years and even tho its expensive, I would not even consider cancelling it. ESPN the magazine, however, is awful. I was a charter subscriber and after about 2 years the magazine really startyed to go downhill. They are a bi-weekly, and reasonably cheap ($22/year), which is the only reason I haven't canceled it yet. Yes, but they could have made it more relevant by not being so much about the upcoming game, but about strategy, players and coaches etc. I'd consider that a big ADVANTAGE, a rabid market that if you produce something at least decent, it will be snapped up no questions asked.

Interesting quote from McNally on MW. Interesting more for what it doesn't say. McNally hasn't even spoken to MW, he gushes about Preston and Peters in the same Q&A, but nothing about MW. Nothing about slowing his progress. MW is gone from this team.

Sports Illustrated has managed to remain relevant as a weekly publication despite the internet. In fact, I think its better than ever.

Man that was one helluva read. Thanks. -
Pete I couldn't agree with this article more. They should have been on the front page of every newspaper in the USA. Fug em. Here we are, come and get us. I would have published them just because of the mob violence. Just because we should not be intimidated by the threat of mob violence from a bunch of radicals. Let them come. We'll deal with them.

Iron City being pitched as Premium Beer?

They have Wegmans in Virginia???? Why, oh, why no Wegmans in NYC??? They would own this city. -
Jon Jansen is a tackle. He rarely runs. Bad comparison. I think (*hope*) he will come back and be the player he was. Its a very difficult injury to come back from, especially for an outside linebacker. The quick cuts, lateral movement, back and forth speed etc. that the position requires makes it even more difficult. I'm not a doctor, and unlike LA I don't play one online, but I'm concerned that he will be even close to the same player. He was the best OLB in football when he went down. Thats a tough standard to live up to.

My understanding of this is that it started way back during the Reagan years. The prices of oil and gas were low and the companies did not have the extra profits to exploration and building of new fields and rigs. The incentive was to promote reducing our dependency on foreign oil by finding new domestic sources. The companies were allowed an offset (royalties) as long as the profits were used for exploration and building new facilities. Some of those facilities are just now coming on line. Sadly, refineries were not included in the bill.

Steve Walsh was the QB I remember being picked in the supplemental draft. Funny, because Dallas took Aikman #1 in the regular draft, then took Walsh in the supplemental, with their #1, thereby leading to Dallas not having a #1 in the 1990 draft. I guess they figured they would play the odds on QB until they found one. Here's a good article on the supplemental draft... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/6452668

Great News for the RaChaCha Family

Congrats Nick. Enjoy your sleep now. Take this from someone who has a 3 month old. -
No question, the perfect vehicle. Great in the snow, convertible in the summer, goes anywhere.

U2...overrated??? I think they're the best act going right now. Best concert and best music. If anything, I think the band is underrated.

I wonder if we could get Staois for Mika, or would we have to give up Marty? After all the Oilers trades Staois may be the odd man out. As for the East, we matchup very well against the slower Rangers or Flyers, who we should meet in the 1st round. Tampa, Montreal, Toronto or Boston don't really scare me. Ottawa will be tough, same with NJ. Carolina is a bit weak in net, but strong elsewhere. I think this team could make the conference finals. Winning the Cup will be tough this year. The good news is that we will be very good for a long time with a bunch of young players.

23" in Brooklyn. I live right next to a park, Owl's Head Park for those who know the area. So I go to get my Jeep out of the parking space after the plows go past all nite. Nice waist-high snow pack next to my sturdy Jeep. Do I shovel...no. Get in the Jeep, start her up, engage 4wd, 1st gear and she sliced through the bank like a hot knife through butter. So now being that I live next to a park that has some great hills for sledding, I decide lets have some fun. Late last nite, park is lit up by the lights, only a few folks around....yep, drove my Jeep thru the park. The wrangler was rockin through the snow, eating it alive. Up one hill, down another, snow flying in every direction...man that was a lot of fun!! I had just pulled out of the park, onto my street, parking my Jeep, when NYPD drives by. They see my Jeep, the tire tracks behind me in the park, I smiled and shrugged...the cops just keep on driving. Fun storm.
