  1. There is one "sort-of" equivalent. Tampa. When they fired Dungy and hired Chucky. And Chucky took them to win the SB. But that Tampa team rode an all time great defense. Absent adding a Justin Jefferson or CeeDee Lamb, we don't have an all time great offense to ride.
  2. Well thats exactly it. In the OP's chart, our record (and Ravens) are far and away above that of anyone else. Both teams have run into the Chiefs dynasty. Kinda why guys like Malone, Barkley, Ewing etc. retired ringless in the NBA from the 90s..their primes were at the same time as Jordan's or Hakeem's. Hats off to KC. To be the man, gotta beat the man. And its that time IMHO... There is also the fact that McD is not perfect, there are a handful of coaches who I believe are better. But....if you make that kinda change, you better be right. Cause then you really blow Allen's prime if you are wrong. Only coach in the last 5 years I would have made the move for would have been Vrabel. Just my $0.02.
  3. This whole game being on a Sunday night against the Patriots seemed an odd duck when the schedule was announced. Like why put this game in that slot? Should have been a 1 pm game. But makes sense that its the Pats coming out party and return to relevance. The penalties just confirm it.
  4. Deciding between Colts and Cardinals. Both good choices I think. Thoughts? I've used Broncos, Cowboys, Seattle and Texans.
  5. Cash Rulez Everything Around Me...
  6. I posted that before the Dart news. I agree with all of your points. I decided to go with Houston this week.
  7. I'm leaning toward Texans. Good time to use them the more I read on it
  8. I've used Denver, Dallas and Seattle. Trying to save the very best teams for when I really need them. So, gonna try and avoid the Bills if possible. Detroit could have some hangover after that big Baltimore win and Cleveland can play defense. Chargers are an interesting one to me this week. Yes, flying across the country is not ideal, but can anyone realistically see the Giants winning that game?
  9. Happy Birthday SDS! Thank you for this site. So glad I found this site waaay back in 2003.
  10. The 60s were dark times for that sort of thing. JFK, RFK, MLK... these are just keyboard warriors voicing their own echo chambers. I try to ignore that nonsense.
  11. Could Bernard ever be moved to SS? He ran a 4.59 40 (same as Ravens Kyle Hamilton) so speed isnt the issue.
  12. Thought Davidson would make it based on Beane's comment in Hard Knocks Ep 4 about "If he was a pro personnel scout, he would be asking who is number 84," but I wish Davidson luck.
  13. Like it so far, but hope to see Davidson and maybe Buchele there, as well as Hamler.
  14. Hope so. He seems like a good dude. Wish he knew how to return kicks, bc that would seem to be a great role for him (if he was good at it).
  15. Hopefully we can get Gore and Davidson to the PS. Maybe Buchele also.
  16. My best takeaway was that Tre looks sharp, fluid and in fantastic shape. Getting me a bit excited and hopeful that we see the old Tre this year. Would make our defense very good.
  17. Winter - Ski Season!!!!
  18. Thought a lot about this and my plan is Lake George. Close to skiing (planning to ski 50-60 days per year), beautiful in all the seasons, low taxes and much less government nonsense, housing (thats not directly on the lake) is reasonably priced, close to NYC where I can work part-time and my kids will likely be. Kinda ticks all the boxes for me.
  19. I know someone mentioned Joan Jett and I mentioned Lita Ford, but the collective group that started them...the Runaways probably deserves its own post...
  20. That changed the whole game. We had momentum and if we had scored there it would have been a game. We were still chasing the game, but at least we would have had a shot.
  21. I mean...Godfather II, Rocky 2 and Empire Strikes Back were the greatest sequels ever. Joined recently by Maverick. For this, I just hope its funny and original. That would be a big W in my book.
  22. You make good points. I remember the game saving plays he made but maybe the mess ups have faded a bit in my mind.
  23. Cant believe I forgot this one...one of the original rocker chicks (along w Janis)...amazing performances at Woodstock. As an aside, these performances were at like 8 AM cause that was their time slot. Grace Slick had an amazingly powerful voice. And shes the one who wrote those two songs, took them from her previous band and brought them to Jefferson Airplane.
