  1. Poor handling of certain things like not re-signing Big Ted and then letting Christie go day before the season. He did/does draft well overall, but his HC decisions have been poor to say the least---especially when other strong candidates were out there.
  2. They are great. Good comfort, good view and better concessions. Very reasonably priced! The price of the seats would be 3-4X as much in New England or NY. If you're a big Bills fan good deal.
  3. If the Bills do not light it up against the Pats putrid secondary this week then you know we are in huge trouble next year. The Pats are horrible against the pass. If we struggle this week flash forward to next year against good defensive competition.
  4. Moulds is suspended--Adams was suspended. Who next? You just sense Mularkey has no control over this team and that he is losing the players. Do they want to play for him?????
  5. Cannot be much worse than 4-12. Actually he cannot be much worse than no trips to the playoffs in 5 years. Had TD chise Charlie Weiss I really think this team could have been a playoff team this year.
  6. Have your best offensive player used as a decoy? Great game planning!
  7. Trust me it will NOT be an upgrade! Not even close. So you actually want Clements, Vincent and Milloy gone? Great secondary we'll have. Be careful what you wish for---the problem with this team is not talent. One game all year they were outclassed--San Diego. The problem is attitude, coaching and folding down the stretch. This team needs to learn how to win close games. This season again is like last year--you look back and the Bills have blown three late 4th quarter leads (New England, Miami, Carolina). That's why this is so maddening. You get rid of all those players and then we are really bad---like GW 1st season bad when we lost because we had no talent. At least we're closer with these guys. If you can keep Moulds and even Williams by them taking pay cuts and then adding incentive money then do it. There are no replacements on this roster anyway for the safeties and cap wise it is not bad to keep them. Safeties get burned--look at a top 5 pick for the Redskins. He has gotten burned plenty this year as has Roy Williams of the Cowboys. Safeties will get burned at times--it happens.
  8. So this team will be without Moulds, Adams, Milloy, Vincent, M Williams, and replace them with? That is the bigger question!
  9. And replace them with who? We have no replacements for them--that is an even bigger problem. You think our secondary is vulnerable now? How about with Coy Wire and who knows who else back there.
  10. And the game doesn't mean anything.......again
  11. Too bad he disliked Buffalo so much and didn't want to come here!
  12. Sure he is--he's like the tenth WR for the Cowboys.
  13. /But for all those arguing for WM to get the ball and run--that's what they did and it was one of the things that cost them the game. You need balance in an offensive attack. I agree that you don't need a WR throwing the ball though. Stick to simple safe plays. Running the ball constantly does not win games if you cannot gain anything. The Pats won th Super Bowl 2 years ago based simply on a short passing game. Running the ball three times up the middle running 38 seconds off the clock is terrible.
  14. The teams are mentally weak. They lack heart and have become accustomed to the culture of losing!!! Most of that goes to coaching, I think anyway.
  15. Don't keep him at a 10.8M cap hit, but if you can get the cap number around 7M-8M you keep him. He is still a very good player and we will have a lot of trouble with the passing game next year with Evans, Aiken and Parrish as our three wide-outs. Then if Evans has an injury we are toast.
  16. I have no problem at all with his draft picks--he has actually overall drafted quite well. This team has plenty of talent which is why it makes this so difficult to watch. He has blown it twice now with coaching! Twice. Instead of picking the safe easy choice the first time Fox or Cottrell (Lewis didn't want to come to Buffalo) he picks a good interviewer in GW. Then when he could have taken Romeo or Weiss he picks Mularkey. How many Super Bowls did Mularkey win as an OC? None! What about Weiss? And he keeps continuing it at ND. Donahoe knows football talent when it comes to players, but his coaching decisions have been abysmal.
  17. Exactly! Things are a lot different once you're the number one guy! It ain't so easy then now is it. We need Moulds plain and simple. Renegotiate the money and keep him because Evans is NOT a number one receiver. He is a GREAT number 2 though.
  18. Great, now we have no number one receiver with a new QB and an awful OL. Things are really looking up!
  19. If you get Moulds to restructure and subtract a couple million from his cap figure then you keep him. He still looked great out there Sunday. He was and has been open. At the Pats game he was a man among boys and Sunday he was open consistently. He was open on the most important play of the game too by the way. Lose Moulds and you have no replacement. You will not find a suitable replacement for him on this roster so you take his 5+M salary cap hit and pay another receiver 4M a year to get the same cap figure Moulds would have. Not too swift. Unless you get Terrell Owens in here you will not get a WR the caliber of Moulds (I know TO is much better than Moulds at this point). Re-structure Moulds and keep him especially now that he and JP appear to have a rhythm together.
  20. I think most of us said it when it happened--what the freak is TD doing? It is not like he was asking for huge amounts of money in football terms. 4M/year to keep a great NT/DT for another 2 productive years. Pretty good value for my dollar. For those who don't think 1 player can lake a huge difference think of the worst run defense in the NFL--the Bills. They lost one guy--Big Pat. I have supported TD many times on personnel moves but absolutely hated the move to let PW go--PW is right, it was a dumb move and he proves it weekly.
  21. Cut Moulds? Yeah and have no open receivers--great idea!
  22. I was watching him live at the Pats gane and he completely dominated the competition that day. Many times this season he has been wide open. Granted, not the receiver he used to be but he still is very good. I would hate to see this team without him. Evans as a number onee WR is scary and has Peerless Price written all over it. I love Evans too, just as a speed and second receiver.
  23. 6-4! Ironic part is that this is the one year he could have beaten New England with their putrid secondary. Probably could have won the division with him, but again we would not beat Indy or Pittsburgh, San Diego or Denver so we would be putting JPs development back a year further. It's a moot point anyway. This team needs heart and perspective.
  24. It is true how a good QB (or at least one that makes quick decisions) can make an OL look fine. Look at Brady. That offense is missing 7 out of 11 starters and doesn't miss a beat. Their RB is a cast-off that got cut from the Dolphins and their starting tackles and center are out. I agree that the OL is weak but the QB and rest of the team has to make plays as well. It was amazing how the same OL went from giving up the most sacks with RJ to giving up the least with Flutie.
