He started at middle linebacker, wearing the green dot so he was also calling defensive signals, and has the night he has against Steelers starters. Something any player signed off a rookie tryout does. 😏
Many of us are overlooking the fact Andreesen wore the green dot for the entire game. He played well AND he called the defensive signals! For a rookie tryout player to make that leap is incredible.
He was the best defender for an otherwise awful UB team last year. What you saw yesterday is what he did all year.
He played just like he did last night. Always around the ball. One of the few bright spots on an awful UB team. FYI, there's another local kid LB at UB now worth bringing in next year named Shaun Dolac. Keep an eye on him too.
No reason given. He will be paid for the two years remaining on his contract.

That was actually on Trubisky. A lower throw and Coleman can make a play for it. Instead the pass was high. Coleman went into the DB slightly to go for the ball.
The Temple of Football. That feeling you get when the sun is out and you walk through the tunnel and see the green of the field for the first time. LFG!
Anthony Venneri. From Hamilton ON. A walk-on. Let's just say he got a lot of practice last year.

I'm happy for Tre and want him to do well, but not at our expense.
It's hard when we like a player but the NFL is a cold business. I know most of you would have moved on from a big-contract player nearing 30 that had two major leg injuries.
