  1. As a hedge a few weeks ago I booked a flight to Baltimore for next Sunday. Getting to the stadium is a breeze because the light rail runs there from BWI. Let's handle business tomorrow.
  2. I just got back from dinner out with the wife. I see the score. Was it as lopsided as it appears?
  3. Here's an idea. The Bills should create a digital time capsule that will be buried in The Pit under the stadium. Bills fans will be encouraged to send in photos of themselves as well as photos of departed loved ones who were also fans. So all of Bills Mafia can virtually reside under the field for as long as the stadium is there.
  4. You joined April 25th and lurked until now to share this tidbit?
  5. And miss out on Josh Allen leading the Bills to a storybook finish? That's a better storyline.
  6. I don't read GDTs. I'm too focused on the game. I will drop a thought now and then.
  7. When I see the word referendum, I take it as a thumbs-up/thumbs-down on the regime. Outside of the Polian Super Bowl years, I can't think of a better time for the Bills front office. That doesn't mean victory is assured. Too many variables in football. Are they? Are these Bills and those Chargers built the same way? Coached the same way? How many favorable/unfavorable calls did each team receive? What teams did they lose to? History may repeat but never in the same way.
  8. It's Tom Brady's Billdo.
  9. If you say so. Why are some fans so enamored with firing people? I suggest reading some TBD archives from around 2015 the next time you feel pouty about these Bills.
  10. Give em beer and nothing will get done. He's still kicking in over $300MM, and probably more as this project goes on.
  11. $500MM is over 25% of the stadium cost. That's some sliver.. It's also $500MM more than Ralph Wilson ever paid.
  12. Just a little perspective. The Bills have always played in a stadium built 100% with public money. This is the first time a Bills owner is picking up at least part of the tab. Pegula committed to around $200MM (most of that from PSLs) and is obligated to cover any overruns, which so far have topped $300MM. So let's not act like Terry is getting a totally free stadium. What upsets me more is how everything costs more to do in WNY.
  13. There was a foot of packed snow in my aisle that folks were standing on. But at least a space was reserved for you.
  14. I'm surprised. I never had that and the seat I bought was open when I arrived before kickoff.
  15. That sticks in my craw as well. Minny was $1.2B...in downtown!
  16. Not to mention a heated field so you won't have to plow it. At least I assume it's how it will work.
  17. I watched that 4th quarter of the KC divisional game. I shut it off when Gabe Davis caught the TD with 13 seconds left. As far as I'm concerned that's all I need to see because what happened after isn't on Josh Allen. He was the GOAT that night and he will be the GOAT again.
  18. But that didn't stop snow removal experts on Twitter from complaining about the bad job the Bills did. Did you know there are companies that you can contract with ahead of time that will make snow disappear in a few hours? I never got a name or contact info for one of these companies with thousands of employees ready at a moments notice, but I was assured they are out there.
  19. Instead of 60 ft tall Buffalos how about an alter?
  20. All teams do. Some even more! It's the NFL. Everyone is good.
  21. Villa Maria?
  22. For those unfamiliar with Joe Pera's understated comedy. This is from 2014.
