    Ralph would not have built that new fitness facility unless Erie County paid for it. He might have hired McDermott but would he let him name his own GM like he did with Beane? Doubtful. Ralph Wilson didn't have billions in the bank like the Pegulas do. (Though current issues may be limiting that reserve.)

    Okay it's a stupid solution. Yet the way the NFL hires means there are few minority coaches. So what's the solution? The Rooney rule was "stupid" too but the number of black head coaches increased because of it.

    Yeah I worry about that. UB is a stepping stone program for football and basketball. Hopefully he has good assistants ready to elevate.
