  9. Two Canadians are sitting in a bar, and getting bored. They decide to play 20 questions. The first Canadian tries to think of a word and after a little pondering comes up with the word: moosecock. The second Canadian tries his first question, "Is it something good to eat?" The first guy thinks a moment then laughs and replies "Sure, I suppose you could eat it." The second Canadian says, "Is it moosecock?
  10. But this is OUR hill...and OUR beans...
  11. It goes to show what we fans "think we know" when we read 100 mock drafts and listen to NFL "draft experts". We read a blurb on a guy at one site, and another, and another. Or we say we saw him play during the college season and "he's great" or "he didn't impress me". We think we know these college players, when in reality we have NO CLUE. I fall into that trap myself, all the time. That's why I laugh when I read draft grades and opinions right after the draft. I have never read any higher praises than of Robert Gallery OT Iowa. Even though Eli Manning was rated #1, Gallery for the most part had the highest grade of anyone with "can't miss" comments. Some team's "all-pro LT for the next dozen years"... yeah right. The point is after all the research and hoopla, college football is not pro football and predicting the future is tough, no matter how good someone looks or how much hype he gets.
  12. Get Zweigles delivered anywhere in the US
  13. Bryant Gumbel worst......announcer......ever
  14. Bruce Smith once said "that's water under the dam".
  15. How'd he do? JP Losman beat the Vikings, didn't he?
  16. Well, you would expect his play to improve, but doesn't it take a full year for his injury to heal? If he shows no improvement from his present level, then I agree with you.
  17. Took 4 games: Indy-8' NE - 3' Hou+4' 2-1 USC-9 1-0
  18. You are right, WR Johnson from Georgia Tech is incredible. But, the Bills have seemed a bit "star-struck" in the drafts before Levy (ie Donahoe) and the lines have been not totally ignored, but put off more than they should have been. Drafting a good lineman in the first round isn't a guarantee (Big Mike) but the probability of guessing right is a lot higher.
  19. Hopefully that picture is after he dragged his feet. I watched the game on TV and CBS has to be the worst sports network going. They had NO good angles of that particular catch (thankfully I think), didn't replay a few controversial calls, and had announcers who were just bad. CBS is just horrible, plain and simple.
  20. Regardless of how good the Bills are (or the Texans are), this game had drama. JP Losman finally showed that he could lead his offense to a win in the last 2 minutes of the game. There was an NFL record breaking receiving performance by Lee Evans. There was a huge defensive stop when all the Texans had to do was get a single first down to clinch the game. I TIVO'ed the game and have watched it again myself. "What's the big deal?" you ask... I guess you'll never know.
  21. How many Buffalo Bills does it take to change a tire? Just one- unless it's a blowout, then the whole team shows up.
  22. Hedge the bet! Put $5,000 on GB...guarantee yourself some big money! It would be foolish not to in my opinion.
  23. You say McGahee is not a championship running back, then you say he is not a championship running back WITH THE BILLS. If McGahee played for Indianapolis is he then a championship running back? Or- who out there IS a championship running back for THE BILLS right now? Also, I think labeling WR's #1 or #2 is overrated. The combination of the top 2 WR's is more important than calling someone a #1 or #2.
  24. The FOX broadcast was absolutely brutal. The announcers were average- they brought little to the table, but at least they weren't annoying. The production was definitely sub standard. We didn't see the full replay of Peerless's TD catch until 8 minutes later. The "down and distance" didn't make the graphics often. I never thought FOX would be worse than CBS in terms of production, but they are.
