  1. This is a nice summary, as you anticipated I disagree about Glennon I would put him in group . As for the remaining group 2 list I would take Henne, McCown and McCoy ahead of him and I still think that Mallett has arguable a slightly bigger upside. So that would put him about for me. Bottom line I think he is part of a group of QB's who have virtually no chance of winning on a regular basis and certainly an interchangeable cog.
  2. I agree that Tyrod is the QB this year sink or swim, what I meant was that if Tyrod doesn't continue his development this year and they decide to let him go via free agency what is plan b? Jones next year? Most expert believe he is three years away from being a starting NFL QB. He didn't play much at OSU and the he is far from certain to pan out. Big upside but more likely to be a washout, Hogan would have been plan b in the event Tyrod isn't the man. I would rather they had drafted Hogan, Lynch or Conner Cook.
  3. Its not the point of wasting a pick its that the Bills still don't have a good plan B if Tyrod doesn't pan out. If Tyrod doesn't work out will it matter who is at LB?
  4. You guys are way off point here... the real question is how does the Mountain Lion/Cougar get overlooked as the national mammal? Bison are great and all but the point is bison are food, mountain lions are clearly the mamamal symbol of the United States. My ranking of american mammals: Mountain Lion Grizzly Bear Polar Bear Grey Wolf Bison Let the debate begin...
  5. I was a fan and I was sorry to see him go
  6. Agree 100% this will be another Whaley fail. If Tyrod doesn't pan out this year we will be right back where we were foe the last 16 years, no QB, no prospects, no playoffs, and no hope.
  7. I think the Bills are handling this the right way. He definitely played well at times last year but there are certainly some questions that need to be answered yet.
  8. Any word on when the schedule will come out yet?
  9. I thought he had his April Fools joke earlier in the week when we wrote that he'd rather have an NBA team in Buffalo than the Bills. I agree and in most cases I don't disagree with this criticism of the the Bills. He is sometimes left-wing pansy but that is another story
  10. He shouldn't be on the team, he simply not an NFL quality QB. The back-up spot should be used for someone who can step in an win if the Taylor is out or for a developmental QB. I'd rather draft a QB and/or sign a real veteran who can get us through a couple of games if he had too.
  11. Its time for Rex to just shut up and produce. He talked all off-season and just laid an egg when it mattered most. If the defense gets much better under Rob good, if it doesn't time for both of them to go and take Whaley with them. I don't want to hear about tough schedules, the referees or injuries.
  12. I never knew we signed him let alone resigned him!
  13. What do you guys think about Anquan Boldin? I know he is getting up there in years but the guy really had some big games at the biggest moments. Might be a good 1 year fix.
  14. Good thought, I think it would be better to go after a good number 2 and move Woods to the 3rd receiver spot.
  15. This is the guy we need to make the team come together, its why Whaley is a genius and why Ryan, Ryan and Roman will be leading a parade down Delaware Avenue. He was a steal, (I too don't know how much the contract was) and was used incorrectly by his mast team/coach (whoever they were). You non-true Bills fans, haters who don't love them as much as I do must now admit that all fans know nothing and should leave this stuff to the experts.
  16. I agree, there isn't any "crisis".
  17. I would what? Or is that a question would I?
  18. My first reaction is similar to the majority of the posts here but if Roman was in favor if the move, a HUGE if I understand, I would strongly consider it. He knows the strengths and weaknesses of both QB's better than probably anyone. I am generally pretty happy with Tyrod but there are still some pretty strong whispers out there that he may not have the tools to be a top 10 QB in this league. I wouldn't close any door at this point but unless Roman strongly supported the move I wouldn't do it.
  19. Rex may be a clown but he is usually a very loyal guy, I suspect that there probably is something other than "need to make a change" at the heart of this. Firing him this late in the game makes it tough for him to land another spot elsewhere and that isn't typically Rex's MO.
  20. Do you say that because of the talent around him on either team or because of his lack of discipline?
  21. Fitzy should be really careful, I think he's overplaying his hand a little bit here. He is an easy guy to root for but to paraphrase the "immortal" "he is what we thought he was". Its best for everyone (including Bills fans) if he resigns and starts for them.
  22. She's pretty... for a fat girl
