  1. Irvin is in the mix. Bills: 3 straight blowout wins. Long winning streaks the past 2 seasons. Irvin: "I need to see some consistency from the Beals. I need to see them stack wins."
  2. Vic Tafur of The Athaletic has Jags over Bills as both Best Bet and Upset Special. (Paywall) Ingram was night and day better this year than last preseason. Vickers was probably the best of the leftover interior DL apart from Ankou... but I didn't think interior DL is where they're having the numbers crunch? I assume this means Ford sits again.
  3. Feeling like it's a reverse hex at this point. I mean, the plane landed.
  4. That makes more sense. Most charts are constructed so that top-right is best (positive-positive) and bottom-left is worst.
  5. That's a weird chart. I'd think someone like Leodis McKelvin would have been toppest rightest. Nobody gets separation, but they throw at him anyway because he can't find the ball. J.C.Jackson bottomest leftest. Everyone's open but nobody throws at him? Wut? Levi Wallace also in that neighborhood.
  6. I can't help it, Flying Pig sucked me in. His minute-long rant about subbing Scottie in, followed by his immediate two goals is just worth the price of admission.
  7. Ankou was far superior in preseason, I've beat that drum enough times. Who's going to be the Bills' McTominay and spring off the bench to save the match? (Reference to Man United v Brentford today)
  8. Boy there's an appropriate meme for this one but I think it gets me the banhammer here. Maybe in Off The Wall.
  9. Honestly it's a perfect fit. A receiver who can't run NFL route trees for a team that doesn't run NFL route trees.
  10. He got the stop after 11 1/2 yards on 3rd and 11. We're used to this, right?
  11. The caveat being, for the last guy it's spelled Rush More. RIP in peace #51
  12. Which Bill did he block? CUT HIM His PFF looks like JaMarcus Russell's Wonderlic.
  13. A definite contender for "Dumbest Post of 2023"
  14. I had no inkling whether he was right Josh or wrong Josh until that throw in the 4th quarter of the first preseason game against the Panthers in 2018. Deep over to Ray Ray iirc, puts the ball past the zone LB's earhole and sticks it right on him. "Whoa. That throw didn't look normal. That shouldn't have gotten there that fast, that was actually well-defended." That was the first true "Allen" throw. Then he escapes a sure sack with power and scrambles with speed to convert 3rd-and-11. Then the first TD throw to Ray Ray through a football-sized-plus-1-inch window, the pocket-presence in the Streater TD vs Cleveland and all the slants and out patterns that the CB has no chance to even react to. At this point we were beginning to understand, this is a unicorn right here. A CRISPR-edited, lab-grown, bio-engineered prototype quarterback unit.
