  1. The Comanches games I've seen this year, the effectiveness of their D line has been led mainly by the excellent tackles Jonathan Allen (7.5 sacks last year) and Daron Payne (11.5 sack last year) disrupting the interior. There probably isn't a better pair in the league. I don't recall them flashing at all and barely heard their names. Young and Sweat had a moment or two but the drivers of that defense got nothing at all, totally dominated by the Bills guards which was the Aaron Rodgers Heel (too soon?) of the Bills offense last year. This... this is what's new this year that has been missing for a while for Buffalo. This might just be an upper-third OL in the league which it hasn't been close to that in the Allen era. This might be the game to review the tape play-by-play just watching the OL.
  2. "One-sided" is the best way to put it. The most aggravating sort, where they'll allow flagrant stuff for one side (LB accosting Knox all the downfield with illegal contact) and call a ticky-tack the other way (the illegal contact on third down). The massive, obvious holding being let slide (i.e. huge one on Phillips in the red zone) while making the weird "tripping without using your leg" - never seen that before. And I still don't know how that McLaurin fumble was complete with forward progress, that was another huge outlier of a call which like almost all of them fell the way of the home team. In a fair game they might have run them out like Miami did to Denver.
  3. I have no idea how there's no flag on Speed taking down Flowers there, but lol.
  4. Woody, why did you do for a 2-point conversion when you were up 50 points on Michigan?
  5. It's a catch, yadda yadda. It's also a major hold and hands to the face by their OL.
  6. I don't know if this left side of the Bills OL is really any worse than the starters?
  7. When you can get to the QB with 4, the Carolina palms-style defense McD created is super effective.
  8. Me, I was. He jumped and Howell zipped right around him on a scramble. This time it worked pretty good I guess
  9. There's no replacement for displacement. Murray powers through.
  10. Hopefully they got the LT clotheslining Jonathan, but probably holding on the Bills somehow.
  11. I mean, the Bills had to stop Washington 3 times on the last drive thanks to the refs. Illegal contact after Knox is grabble-hooked his entire route. Almost pulling Phillips jersey off and call the hold against Brown. It's not an even playing field.
  12. Redskin decks Allen 3 yards OB, no call. Don't tell these games are called even both ways. Edit: Ok, that wasn't Oscar worthy. But the refs are NOT calling an even game and are constantly hitting the Bills at key plays.
  13. if white rolled the other way it's a touchback. but i think there was space between him and Samuel when he caught it, so the spot at the 1 is right
  14. was there contact with white on the way down? that would make it a touchback. i sure hope it's a touchback.
