  1. I could see him being kind of like a Peyton Manning type after his career is over, if he wants it.
  2. You could be right, but I have my doubts about Josh Allen banging the table for him. I would say that it is more likely that the Buffalo media team were trying to sell Coleman to the fanbase, and Josh went along with it (and maybe even convinced himself that Keon was gonna be great after the pick was made). It's possible that he really wanted Keon, but I think it's more probable that after the pick was made, there was a full on team media push that Keon was gonna be great and he was handpicked by Josh Allen, etc....
  3. Painful to watch Wentz and the Vikings offense. It is offensive.
  4. Trying to justify his draft status, I would guess.
  5. That sucks for him. Such a great player.
  6. Sorry to be off topic, but GO JAYS! Can't believe Springer just did that.
  7. Yes, I do. 😄 The thought of Tre White chasing guys around all game is scary.
  8. Giants just have a losing culture.
  9. If the Pats win the next two or three, I would be inclined to consider them favourites for the division. I am not there yet, but they are trending up. Still a long way to go this season, but this Pats team is cleary no joke anymore.
  10. Yeah, the Pats may be a problem.
  11. Haven't watched the Raiders but I would have figured Pete Carroll would love to establish the run game.
  12. I don't like it, but he looks legit.
  13. Drake Maye was surgical on that drive. That throw to Mack Hollins was money.
  14. Have they, though? Maybe over a short stretch, but not really long stretches, I don't hink. KC lost talent on offense, so the team was carried by the defense for several years, and Mahomes' level of play definitely was not up to his usual level when this happened. Can't think of other QBs doing much better with less talent. I don't have the greatest memory, though.
  15. That throw to Shakir was his best throw of the night. Crazy to bring that up as a criticism of Allen if that was the throw being referenced. The interception in the 1st half? Absolutely a terrible throw by him. Overall, you can't say that he played all that well, with 14 points and all. There are plenty of missed throw by every QB in every game, but that was not him at his best for sure. Hopefully the Falcons game will be the worst Josh plays this season. He still needs help at WR, though, or even his best won't be sufficient.
  16. Another example of Josh Allen being a horrible deep ball thrower. Could find a few more glaring examples of his terrible deep ball throwing in the 13 seconds game, also.
  17. I would say not much truth at all to that. I do believe he had a big say in Dorsey, which was obviously not a good judgement call.
  18. Yes you can. You just need to get creative with the cap. There is a ton of cap currently being wasted on jags that could be replaced for much less with similar results. Thinking that you can't pay 30 million to a receiver because the QB is being paid is how you wind up with guys like Curtis Samuel and Josh Palmer and even Bernard. You dont think replacing them with DK Metcalf would improve the team?
  19. Gotta agree with that. Daboll is unhinged. Entertaining at times, but he has a screw loose for sure.
  20. Mcdermott even had the old granny glasses on to play his part.
  21. So, you have high hopes for Beane's big offseason signings on the defense to come in and make a difference, but think Rice's status as a potential weapon for KC is overrated? Interesting assessments. Rice may not be a huge difference maker this year, as it may take him a while to come back from his injury and get back to his normal self, but he was definitely a weapon when healthy. If healthy, he would be the undisputed #1 WR on Buffalo in my eyes. I think the Bucs will likely be near the top of the NFC by year's end. Steelers, I don't consider a real contender. The defense will likely get better as the year goes on. How much, who really knows. They have nowhere to go but up, but Hoecht is not going to be some big difference maker. The offense is the bigger concern to my eyes. The only chance for the Bills this year, and likely the following several years, is to have the offense humming and hope for at least a passable defense that comes up with timely turnovers/stops.
  22. Maybe instead of signing mediocore players to ten or fifteen or twenty million dollar a year contracts, our GM should have been looking to sign actual difference makers instead, and filled out the roster with what money was left. Not one guy signed this offseason will make a noticeable difference for the Bills in all likelihood. Would have been nice to even have even one guy added to the roster who moved the needle. Up against the cap every year, but with only two real difference makers on the 53 man roster. Crazy.
