Oddly enough, I think he’s a better LB5 than Andreesen, just never could stay healthy. I’m a little surprised he didn’t catch onto someone else’s team as a depth LB but that’s probably a symptom of our Bills-Fan glasses thinking every player is better than they actually are.

It seems McGovern has been playing through a few injuries this year too if I remember correctly he had a Hand issue in one game and wears that giant elbow brace. With it being a contract year I’m sure he’s playing through everything as much as he can but something I’d keep a close eye on the rest of the year as you don’t want to hand a big new contract to someone whose body is on the verge of falling apart.

Haven’t seen much of the raiders this year but picking Jeanty with the 6th overall pick last year seems like such a waste.

I’m a little surprised about Ciarlo’s cut. A few weeks ago they added him to the active roster over Keonta Jenkins (who they already elevated 3 times), but returned him quickly back to the practice squad. I agree that this must mean he has fallen behind Spector and Keonta Jenkins in the pecking order.

I’d be curious if anyone has broken down the number of TD’s Josh has on the tush push play. It’s obviously been a big part of the playbook the last couple seasons but I do remember early career Josh scoring on a fair amount of scrambles and QB power-type plays as well.

Javon Solomon was who the bills turned too for this role in the 4th quarter after the injury. I can’t say I remember 1 good thing that Solomon has done for this defense so my hopes are low but I think this will be what the bills try next.

You can tell the Bills think about the Chiefs all year round. I think they have a Chiefs specific playbook they’ll tap into today to make sure the offense is humming and converting TD’s instead of FG’s! I think the Bills pull out a win in a tight back-and-forth game!

Thanks for finding and posting this - I was curious myself as to some of the combos we saw on the field how much rotating was happening. While it doesn’t really matter, I found it interesting that SVPG came in as the center at the end of the game and AA at guard. We learned a few weeks ago that AA is actually the true backup center for the team, you’d think they’d use garbage time to get him practice snaps over your third string center.

I think the bills should explore a trade for a new DT, more than any other position. They are down to: 1. Walker (shining star) 2. Oganjobi 3. Jones (returning soon hopefully) 4. Sanders (IR returning in a few weeks hopefully) Even if Jones and Sanders are back ASAP, trusting this group to make it through the rest of the season without more bumps and bruises would be a gamble I wouldn’t be willing to take. I wonder if the saints would think about trading Cameron Jordan

They actually went into the Falcons game with 52 as well - I’m wondering if they try to get a feel for Milano/Bernard injuries this morning, and will have the active roster spot to sign Ciarlo/Spector this morning, if needed. But not too sure on roster / transaction cut off times and if they missed the window already or they can add someone up to the active roster deadline 90 min prior to kickoff.

If I were the Jets I’d explore the cost to get Kirk Cousins in the building and see if has anything left to breathe hope into the roster for this & next year.

I voted no. Josh already has influence in the decisions that are made that led to Ken Dorsey and Keon Coleman. Things could get worse …

I too thought this was interesting that AA was the backup center instead of SVPG. Thinking forward to the offseason discussion … McGovern is a FA, and I think AA is a RFA. I’m sure the Bills would love to keep the Oline intact but maybe they’d feel they could get a cheap year out of AA while they transition to the next starting C. I’m not sure we should continue to expect SVPG to develop into anything other than depth.
