This was the first draft in a while where I wasn't asking WTF with the first few rounds. Sure we need to see if any of these guys pan out in the long term, but when the Bills actually address needs in the draft - who knows what else they might do...like sign a veteran OT to protect Trent's blind side. Strange days indeed.

Flutie was a gamer and made things happen. Looking back I was pissed we took Beldsoe. I was hoping for a year with Pillsbury and then get a good QB in the draft.

Also during the Denver SB years, Elway had an excellent running back to take the pressure off of him. If the Bills teams of the early 90's had instead been in the late 90's they would have beat denver.

All I know is I had labrum surgery on my shoulder in July and its still sore. If his condition is at all serious we best be looking for an experinced FA.

This seems like a big story about nothing. As a fan, I am more concerned what is happening on the filed, then what an inactive player is doing off, espically consiering the game measnt nothing and the team played like it.

It's on thing to be owned by another team Bills/Pats now, Bills/Fish in the 70's, but the difference is the Bills were competitve in the 70's which made the Fish games that much better which is why Sqiush the Fish week is(was) so much fun. We need an organization that at leats can make the games competive. Outside of the 1 win, how many of the games have been close?

Isn't it possible that even good coaches lose theirm mo-jo? Marty was in Washington and SD and didn't exactly light up the football world or is my memory that hazy? He might be great in a front office type of situation like BP in Miami, but I am wary of retred coaches, even good ones.

"not playing to potential" is a clear reflection on the coaches. If we had this record and the team said "we left it all on the filed and just could not get it done" I would feel better about the coaches, even the loveable blockhead DJ. We need coaches that light fires, that calls out players (strategically) and shows emotion.
