  1. Houston is doing better each year and that is good to see, but they are no way it the top half of the NFL. The Bills have just won two games, which in and of itself is impressive. Add they did it on the road. The D is playing inspired football and the O, well they are finding a way to be good enough, even if its ugly. Sure they can still lose this game and if they are the Bills of the past few years, they will find a way to do this. But they have the opportunity to go into the off week 4-4 with a negotiable schedule for the next 8 games. I say the home crowd will be on fire and this Bills team seems to be learning how to win. Call it ugly, but call it a win 24-20 Bills.
  2. What controversy? Trent should take an extra week off to ensure his head is okay (no joking about a concussion), Fitzy get another week. He did nice today, but it was all in the 4thQ. If he has another game like today I'd give Trent the start and see if this lit a fire. If Fitzy plays the whole game with solid passing, I'd say he is the new starter based on performance. This ain't PAL football and feelings mean nothing, its about results and if Fitzy earns the job, its his.
  3. for 3 quarter the ball was riding up on his tosses, but it seemed the same thing was happening with Delhome. Any idea if there was some crazy wind? It didn't seem to affect the kicking so WTF?. All I know is he made some nice tosses in the 4th Q and that is all the difference.
  4. Rangers in 7!
  5. I have confidence in Fitz, I question our Oline against the Carolina pass rush. Ryan should just be saying "feets dont fail me now".
  6. Wouldn't mean spit since we have an inept football operations office. And GW had no clue for the offense plus he was a weenie.
  7. Once, 8 years ago. To quote the raven "nevermore" As for Fitz, lets see, I mean its not look we have a young Jack Kemp on the bench. If he can play well I'd rather see the Bills play well, regardless if DJ is the coach. And, if for some divine reason the Bills were to make the playoffs, I could perhaps live with him as coach IF Ralph but in a real GM and send Brandon back to marketing. The again, if my aunt had a penis, she'd be my uncle.
  8. Thanks Bill, as usual you hit it on the head, especially on the phantom hold. I think it will be a long year with this o-line, but they look like they can evolve into a league leading unit.
  9. Nice blocking by the line too. By golly a forward pass beyond 5 yards. I'd love the Bills to win if only to walk into work tomorrow and laugh at Jets fans.
  10. Happy Birthday Ralph, you deserve all the praise in the world for what you have given to professional football. May this year give you the sight to see what is and help you to do the right thing.
  11. In a time before free agency, how did this team not repeat? Great video, thanks for sharing
  12. It all means spit if Ralph doesn't get a real GM!
  13. At the very least, why not ask Jimbo to work with Trent. Jim could probably help him with his game. He can start by putting a foot in his ass for his damn ignorant post game comment about not being a Bills fan.
  14. Nice effort, but Lynch is not going anywhere for 1, Brady Quinn cannot even start in Cleveland and you want to give up a top 10 RB for him? As for Cowher, Ralph absolutely has the cash to hire a top coach. The Bills make money and with revenue sharing he is doing just fine. Where you are right is will Ralph have the will to give a man like Cowher control? Maybe after this year trying to do it on the cheap, he might want the chance for one more run towards glory? If Jimbo has his ear, it could happen.
  15. I think people are doing this because lets face it, the season is lost and the team is damn disappointing. BUT, if you had Jimbo as HC, it would be fun to watch him exploding on the sideline.
  16. Oh sure, the Jets after losing a heart-breaker are going to take the Bills lightly. Look in an average Dickey year we might trade home games with the Jets. This year, based on our offense being code red and our defense valiant but broken it is bloody unlikely. Then again, thats why the play the games.
  17. Too true, I became aware during the 84 season. My Dad has been an fan since 60 so I can whole heartedly agree with your statement.
  18. Born in Queens, NY, Moved to Southern CT before I was 3, But.... My father is from Buffalo. He was at the Rockpile in 1960 and inspite of it all rooted for the Bills. In order to bond with my Father I would watch the games with him. Ever since I was infected with the team. I became a true fan in 1986 when Jim Kelly joined the team and I never looked back.
  19. Right, then move him back down to GM of marketing and bring in some real scout/personnel guys (or gals).
  20. He needs to be on-staff @ the Bills
  21. Do you think anyone at 1 Bills Drive reads them?
  22. Ever since Kelly and not including Flutie, every QB the Bills have brough in sucked eggs. Todd Collins Ron Johnson JP Losman Trent Edwards All were decent college QB's with good arms. Its either we have the most dilusional scouts of the past 20 years or our coaching staff has no clue on how to develop a qb. During their tenure with the Bills they even regressed. I think Trent is salavagable to be better then Trent Dillfer QB in the leauge. With some coaching and an Oline he might be better.
  23. From an overal history and the value of Ralph to the AFL and NFL he deserved to be in the HOF. When it has come to his team, Ralph has a history of not knowing ass from elbow.
  24. Too True, Ralph brings being stubborn to a new, ugly level. It's his team and his right, so I guess the joke is on us.
  25. If my dentist offers me tickets to the Jets/Bills, I think I will decline the offer. I take enough greif wearing my colors there when the team is merely mediocre.
