  1. they are jamming the line, try some play action.
  2. Will the offsense be able to give Mooreman enough room not to put out of the endzone?
  3. I love Mooreman, but think its sad our punter has been the MVP for the past 5 seasons.
  4. Criqui said, With a Bills win they arwe 2-3 and back in the think of it. Yeah, until they play their next game.
  5. Watching this game is like reading Thucydides "The Peloponnesian War". What the hell is wrong with the Bills, on top of crappy play we have penalties coming out the wazoo!
  6. No problem with it, Cablevision owns the Knicks and the Rangers. The rule used to be for media but thats gone too.
  7. No booing Ralph, but everyone should hold up a sign asking if he needs help finding his checkbook. Cowher is going to be expensive.
  8. If Ralph Wilson was setting in motion a deal to sell the time after his passing why would he freeze out anyone? Is Golisano's groups money not as good as a California group? Additionally, If Ralph is dead, why would he care where the team is? I kind of think he would hope to keep the team where he had put it?
  9. Considering the tickets are bought, would it make sense to go, have some fun tailgating, watch the kickoff and then leave before halftime so the 2nd half is played to an empty stadium. It sends two messages: Bills fans love the Bills Bills fans will not sit through watching a group of have beens and never weres wearing Bills jersey's. It would certainly be talked about during the game. I'd do the same but direct tv only cares that I pay on time.
  10. I think Rush is a major F&^%ing A&s^%le, but if he would pay for a real GM, real scouting staff and pay for real NFL talent I would care less he sat in the owner box
  11. Did everyone hear about Darryl Talley's twitter: "So, while sitting in front of the television in his Orlando home, via his Twitter account, Darryl Talley ripped off a couple memorable and scathing tweets: "Does anyone out there have 1 billion I can borrow? I'd like to buy the Bills and give back to the good people of Buffalo the team they deserve." And then there was this: "The Bills need to fire more than a coach. I see a few players who need to be sent packing." http://www.democratandchronicle.com/articl...ion+by+Dolphins
  12. DJ at the press conference after them game backs up your psych patient theory
  13. I have to pay of direct Tv to see the bills so it wasn't until the 4thQ I gave up.
  14. You make a valid point, but in the NFL you cannot fire the team so you bring in a new HC to see if they can get better results. After 3 7-9 seasons and 2 games the team shoulda/coulda won, I think a change is needed and DJ is the easiest choice.
  15. I'd like to see Bill Cowher in Bufffalo. Blue collar mentality, tough SOB. He's be a good fit, young and would need to get paid. Any top coach will require Ralph finding his checkbook.
  16. True, its remincient of the early 1980's before Jimbo reminded him to open his wallet. The Team makes a profit so he should use that to front a quality front office and coaching staff. I think the team has talent, to truly flesh this out we need a HC who can lead and DJ is not him.
  17. Fire DJ, have Marv coach out the year, bring in Cowar for 2010.
  18. then you do not know your history. Fins beat the Bills for 20 straight games, an entire decade. When Jimbo and co. whooped them in the 90's it was the greatest thing ever! At the same time, I think the Bills in the central would have been interesting given the geographic proximity to Cleveland and Pittsburgh.
  19. why not have them both behind the QB? Its called a 2 back set and it worked nicely in the 60's and 70's.
  20. I live in Connecticut and I look at my trips to games as an almost holy pilgrimage. If the team moves I will be done with the NFL.
  21. So true, the talent is there and even the positions that are not great now, like O-line and QB show that they can be good. I even think AVP could be a good OC. The trouble starts at the top and DJ just doesn't have the swagger to lead men into battle. Team is salvageable, head coach is not.
  22. That was funny and so true. The OSU/Michigan one was good too. Can anyone find the Marv Levy/Bills Snickers commercial?
  23. Yours is the kind of optimism that gets men killed in war. As this is pro football and not war I love it. I think you should switch to crack light, but I love it! Regardless I will drink heavily to kill the pain or enhance the joy.
  24. Well Bruce wasn't Bruce in his first few years. It was until he gave up the white lies and started burning out stair-masters that he became the HOF player we know and love.
  25. Sal and Leo Roth are great sports beat writers and they call it like it is. You get the same thing from the NY Post down here. I think they give the most honest view and provide great solace on at least 9 of the past 16 Mondays for the past 3 years.
