Considering the tickets are bought, would it make sense to go, have some fun tailgating, watch the kickoff and then leave before halftime so the 2nd half is played to an empty stadium. You make a valid point, but in the NFL you cannot fire the team so you bring in a new HC to see if they can get better results. After 3 7-9 seasons and 2 games the team shoulda/coulda won, I think a change is needed and DJ is the easiest choice.

So true, the talent is there and even the positions that are not great now, like O-line and QB show that they can be good. I even think AVP could be a good OC. The trouble starts at the top and DJ just doesn't have the swagger to lead men into battle. Team is salvageable, head coach is not.
