quantity vs. quality

WOW Rochester's D&C is probably the most depressing thing a Bills fan can encounter. I live in Rochester, and if it wasn't for this website where I can read stuff from other news sources, I think I would have ended it all a long time ago. Even though the negativity has probably been uncomfortably accurate over the past few years, it is a soul-sucking experience to read it day after day after day after day. 98% of the negative stuff comes from one writer, Sal Maiorana, the Senior Bills beat writer, and I don't know what happened in his life to make him the way he is, but it must have been horrible. Anyways, I guess this way just to vent and say thanks to Two Bills Drive for being there when I need it most!

That statement is less than grudgingly optimistic.

ERIC WOOD, LOUISVILLE Lovin' this kid

For some reason I feel like he probably had some time on his hands recently to peruse a playbook, and now is the point where he can focus on getting in shape and applying his knowledge of the playbook.

I love everything about Eric Wood so far. Everything I've seen, heard, and read about him is great. Seems to have a good attitude, tons of effort, and says and does all the right stuff, and has gotten high praise from even his training camp opponent, Marcus Stroud. But the lingering fear I have...is that it is as much because Stroud's game is slipping as it is good work from Wood. Stroud did good last year, but he was rarely a dominant or a game-changer, and I worry that now he's another year older, etc. Any thoughts?

Does anyone find it strange that Demetrius Bell is getting first team reps at Right Tackle, when RT is Langston Walker's preferred position and Bell is being groomed for the left side? I know he's filling in for the injured Brad Butler, but I found that strange. Basically I bring it up because I'm very excited about the things I hear about Bell at LT, and lightning might have struck twice for the Bills at that position - but I know I should be patient and wait for him to develop and the coaches think he's ready. And Langston Walker scares the bejeezes out of me at Left Tackle
