  1. Jets will have to give up a lot for a 40-year QB who it appears doesn't really want to be there. I expect he will sign with the Jets ($$$$) but how invested is he with them. The Jets will be good this year and maybe next (assuming Rodgers plays a 2nd year there) but after that they will be looking for a QB again.
  2. Rich Cimini on Twitter: "As for Rodgers, nothing much has changed as of early this morning. All signs point toward a trade, perhaps even today, but not done yet. A sense of guarded optimism, though, at 1JD. #Jets" / Twitter
  3. If Rodgers does go to the Jets let's hope, he keeps one streak going. He has never won a game in Buffalo. Granted he hasn't played in OP all that much, but it would still be nice if he remains winless there.
  4. It might be. If it is I do like the fact that they gave up a first this year and a 2nd that could become a first next year. That's a lot for a 40 year who will probably only be there a year or two.
  5. Don't know if this true bet the latest now has... Dov Kleavage on Twitter: "BLOCKBUSTER: Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has been traded to the New York Jets, pending physical. The Packers receive the Jets 2023 1st and a 2024 2nd that can become a 1st based off of escalators. The Jets lock in their franchise QB. Per sources. #Jets #Packers" / Twitter
  6. Looks like it was a BS report. Ian Rapoport on Twitter: "I wish it did. I wish something had happened. But nothing has happened." / Twitter
  7. Dov Kleiman on Twitter: "𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: #Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is being traded to the #Jets, per @wingoz "It's done." https://t.co/k2L3SlfOnp" / Twitter
  8. Probably the 2nd quarter of week 1 or week 2 at the latest.
  9. If the Jets were in a on Jimmy G, then what does that say about Rodgers. I hope it blows up in their faces. Reading their board will be pure joy if it does. Dianna Russini on Twitter: "The Raiders wanted Jimmy Garoppolo but so did Houston… and the Jets In the end, Vegas wins this one" / Twitter
  10. Rob Demovsky on Twitter: "We're an hour away from the start of the free agent negotiating period, and I'm told neither the Packers nor the Jets know what Aaron Rodgers is going to do." / Twitter
  11. Dov Kleiman on Twitter: "Update: #49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo is seeking more than $25 million per year in free-agency, according to @AlbertBreer He's the top QB to hit unrestricted free-agency. https://t.co/yWyxcJWChp" / Twitter
  12. Rumor out there that the Jets will look into trading for Stafford if Rodgers doesn't go to NJ. ProFootballTalk on Twitter: "If the Jets don't land Aaron Rodgers, who becomes Plan B? A potential trade for Matthew Stafford might not be as crazy as it sounds. https://t.co/RQ0vIEEedZ" / Twitter
  13. Neither as I couldn't name one song from either of them. But as far as female singers go. Ann Wilson tops my list. Stevie Nicks, Pat Benatar, Janis Joplin, Terri Nunn, Grace Slick also get a thumbs up from me.
  14. Improved OL and an improved pass rush. If Beane can't fix these two areas, then we have no shot at a Lombardi.
  15. You can't have a thread discussing the best guitar player in the world and not include this guy...
  16. I would take the Jets defense over the Bills.
  17. LOL Keyshawn Johnson.
  18. Woody and Chris Johnson = Beavis and Butthead.
  19. uSTADIUM on Twitter: "Tom Pelissero: The #Jets have worked through the compensation and contract for Aaron Rodgers. It’s up to him to let them and the #Packers know what he wants to do. Mike Garafolo said the #Jets won’t rush Rodgers." / Twitter
  20. Look is also available for a trade now. Dov Kleiman on Twitter: "The #Rams would "Love to trade" QB Matthew Stafford, according to @mlombardiNFL on the @PatMcAfeeShow “Matthew Stafford is fully available.” https://t.co/7woH61xlx9" / Twitter
  21. Adam Schefter on Twitter: "Jets are releasing WR Braxton Berrios at the start of the league year next week, per source. The two sides discussed a restructuring of his contract but were unable to reach agreement. His release will save $5 million against Jets’ cap." / Twitter
  22. Reading this thread, I am reminded of the lunch lady from the Billy Madison movie. The sloppy Joes woman.
