This isn't an NFL rumor or speculation, but the NYC media has mentioned the idea that the Jets and Giants should play week 1 on MNF. The reason is the first MNF game will be played on 9/11. The two NYC area teams playing on 9/11. They could do a ceremony before the game honoring or remembering those who lost their lives on that horrible day. Again, the NYC media has put the idea out there. We will have to wait until May when the schedule comes out to see if it will be Jets at Giants week 1 on MNF.

Division is a lot tougher. Road games at KC, CIN, PHIL. NFCE is pretty tough as well. I would say 10 is the floor, 12 the ceiling. I will guess 11-6.

It might take Hall a couple of years before he regains his form like it did Barkley.

I still think they go OL in Rd #1 especially if they get Hopkins. As for DL I could see the Bills drafting someone as well in the later rounds. Von will be 34 and coming off a major injury. I hope he can regain his form but who knows.

Diggs and Hopkins will not only do damage themselves, but they will open things up for everyone else. Davis would probably make a great #3 WR. Knox becomes more dangerous as well.

Their defense played better in the playoffs. The Bills defense was disappointing in the playoffs.

Need to improve both lines. The OL isn't good and without Von the pass rush was weak.

Good call. I forgot about 98. There hasn't too many years where both the Bills and Jets were good at the same time. Maybe now the rivalry will heat up. The Jets are definitely #3 behind the Dolphins/Pats on the Bills rivalry list. Although I am not sure the Bills vs Pats was ever a real rivalry since they basically destroyed the Bills for 20 years. I think Brady is something like 31-3 vs the Bills or close to that.

This kind of reminds me of the hype with Mario Williams. The Bills did get him.

I think you have to go all the way to back to 1981 when both teams were good at the same time. The 81 WC game was a classic. I was at Shea that day. Simpson intercepting Todd in the final seconds at the goal line to preserve a 31-27 win was exciting and nerve-wracking as could be.

No chance that happens. It does suck when you get home late, and you have to go to work/school the next day.

I also picked the Bills at Dolphins for SNF. Bills will get 4 or 5. Last year GB at BUF was SNF. So, the league took advantage of the Allen - Rodgers matchup. I expect the same this year if Rodgers becomes a Jet.

The Eagles describe what being a Bills fan is like. "You can check out anytime you like but you can never leave".

On the plus side Rodgers has never won a game in OP. Lets keep that streak going.

The Jets are basically going all in for the next year or two 2. Rodgers is 39 and may only play this year and retire. The Jets will be tough this year for sure.

Hope this doesn't turn out like...

We play Dallas at home next year and the Cowboys always play at home on Thanksgiving. Last year the Bills played at Detroit and the Giants played at Dallas. If they alternate the AFC team going to Detroit and Dallas, then the Cowboys are scheduled to play the AFC team on Thanksgiving. The only AFC teams going to Dallas next year are the Jets and Pats. My guess is Jets at Dallas on Thanksgiving. As for the Bills I would say one of the Jets games is a good bet for primetime. The league will want to showcase Allen vs Rodgers. Plus these teams may very well be battling for the AFCE. I will say at KC on SNF. Giants at Bills on MNF. Bills at Dolphins on SNF. I think the Bills vs Bengals game will be the Sunday afternoon national game. To avoid any superstition, it may not be a good idea for the Bills and Bengals to play on primetime given what happened that Monday night in Cincinnati.

Depends on if Johnson wants to wait or not. He may cave in and give them the 13th overall pick. Both JD and Saleh wanted Carr so this whole Rodgers to Jets situation is 100% on Woody Johnson.

Hall might not even be that good next year. It took Barkley a couple of years to regain his old form which he did last year.

Diggs and Hopkins would be an incredible 1/2 punch. It's not just that. It would open everything up for everybody. Davis, Knox etc etc. Of course, Beane will have to improve the OL in the draft which I think (hope) he will do.

I remember the Bengals - Pats game last year. The Bengals jumped out to a big lead, and it looked like it was going to be a blowout. Bill made some adjustments, and the Bengals offense was shut down the rest of the way. NE almost won the game. They were inside the Bengals 10 in the final minute but turned the ball over and lost a close game.
