NFL Schedule Interview with Mike North by Sal C Up
Gregg replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
I can't see the Lions or Bears playing week 1 at KC. The Chiefs have better opponents to choose from. The 2023 Chiefs home schedule is the Bills, Dolphins, Bengals, Eagles, Bears, Lions, plus the division. -
From the media in the NYC area, it was reported that both JD and Saleh wanted Carr. Its Woody Johnson who has them going all in for Rodgers. So, if this blows up in their faces then its Johnson who is 100% to blame.

NFL Schedule Interview with Mike North by Sal C Up

I will guess 5 primetime games. I think the Bills open at home this year after opening at LA last year. I think the game vs the Bengals will be Sunday afternoon after what happened on MNF last year with Damar. The league won't put that game on primetime this year. If the Jets get Rodgers, then one of the games against them is a slam dunk for primetime. Rodgers vs Allen. KC will probably be another primetime game. Could also see the Cowboys. Eagles or Giants as primetime possibilities. -
I thought Terry's oldest daughter was getting involved and learning about how to run the Bills. I hope Kim also gets better but it sounds like Terry will transfer ownership to his kids will be the more likely scenario. With the new stadium coming the Bills aren't leaving WNY. If any team is in danger of moving it would be the Sabres. They aren't a cash cow like the Bills are.

Happy Birthday to the original #12.

I do think the Isles get back in the series tonight. Both games in Carolina were close and if Sorokin played better in game 2, they are probably tied 1-1. First playoff game ever at UBS I would be surprised if the Isles don't come out fired up. We will see.

When you look at the Bills history with QB's there are only 4 worth mentioning. Kemp, Ferguson, Kelly, Allen.

The draft is coming up next Thursday. So, we have that to look forward to.

Thurman is up there but he isn't the greatest. He isn't even the greatest Bills RB. OJ was not only greatest RB in Bills history but also the greatest offensive player in the team's history.

For what he did I could understand him not getting a job in baseball again. But he deserves to be in the HOF for what he did as a player.

Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?

Six more days until the draft. If there is a trade, I am guessing it gets done then. -
Someone want to tell the Devils that their playoff series has started. Being a no-show at home for two straight games against your biggest rival will not get it done.

First the Golden Knights, then the Raiders, and now the A's. Only a matter of time before the NBA goes there.

New stadium cost goes up from $1.4 billion to $1.54 billion.

They will need a roof. Could you imagine playing baseball especially in June, July, and August outside in Vegas. Nothing like running around in 120-degree weather. -

I am more interested in what Beane does then what Von says when it comes to this stuff. -
The refs in the Isles - Canes game was a joke. 6 PP's for the Canes and 0 for the Isles. Then the blatant high stick call that wasn't called in OT which resulted in the winning goal. Maybe game 3 will be called by refs and not "Canes fans". If I am the Isles I come out hitting everything in game 3. They have got to be pissed and rightfully so.

So, we have 8 more days then. This thread will be up to page 500 by next Thursday. -
49ers taking calls on potential trades for Trey Lance. Ian Rapoport on Twitter: "Sources: The #49ers have received inquiries from several teams looking into a potential trade for former No. 3 pick QB Trey Lance. The conversations have been the result of SF fielding the calls, not making them, with teams aware that Brock Purdy is likely the future starter. https://t.co/ddOZjZq5Xn" / Twitter

Josh Britt unverified Breakup rumour

Allen does have to take care of the ball better and limit turnovers, but I would look more at his supporting cast as to what needs to get better. OL, another elite level playmaker on offense to help Allen and Diggs. A defense that can show up in a big game would also be helpful.
