Testaverde had some good years with them. They almost got to the Super Bowl in 98 before losing to Denver in the AFCCG. They were one of the favorites going into the 99 season but then Vinny tore his Achillies on opening day. If I remember correctly Pennington was decent but then hurt his arm and was never the same again.

Finally, we have a game today. Jets vs Browns at 8:00 tonight. Despite the fact that the game will probably suck and be boring it's still nice to see football again. The offseason is so long.

Not a big deal to me either way. About 80% to 90% of kickoffs go into the endzone anyway and the receiving team just starts at the 25.

Week 5 is the first week games can be flexed to SNF. Jets and Broncos play week 5 but I can't see the Cowboys-49ers being flexed out of SNF. NE does have a nice streak going against the Jets. I think they have won 11 or 12 in a row. It's something like that. I agree with you that the Jets with Rodgers should at least get a split with the Pats. I wouldn't be shocked if they swept them this year either.

I am hoping for DeSantis to be the Republican nominee. Whoever wins for the Republicans I expect they will go up against Newsome. Biden's health will decline even further, or he will be dead. If the VP wasn't such a moron, the Dems probably would have tried to have him step down by now. Instead, they will "Weekend at Bernies" Joe until 2024.

9 or more wins in a division with the Bills, Jets, and Dolphins will be a tall order for the Pats. I think the division will be a three-way fight with the Pats coming in last. I would guess 7 or 8 wins at most for NE this year.

The one thing I really hope they do is go back to blue over white as the primary home look. They wore the all blues for most of their home games last season. I could see them wearing the all whites for the home opener since it could still be hot out for a 1:00 game in Sept and make the Raiders wear black. After that most home games and all playoff home games should be blue over white.

Looks like Rodgers wants to play more than 2 years. Not everyone can "Tom Brady" Father Time. I really hope this blows up in the Jets faces this year. It's been a while, but I would love to see them bring back the blue over white throwbacks.

That combo would be good for a division 3 college football program or the XFL, USFL as that look screams minor league. Lose the all reds and blues and then the Bills have the perfect uniform combos. Every other look is good.

I would also add win a Super Bowl. Probably would have won it in the 13 seconds year.

Carolina releases their entire uniform schedule for the year. It says week 3 at Seattle they will be wearing a dark color jersey. I think the Seahawks are the only team in the NFL who has never worn their white jersey at home. That is probably a mistake.
