That yacht Terry has looks nice. I would love to be able to rent it, but that price tag is way out of my range.

Beane has to be working the phones and looking at all options to improve the secondary. I would hope they can find someone to bring in who is decent.

I think you mean 50 new "Fire McDermott" threads will be created. They can't do that this year and expect to be 1-0.

When the Bucs 4th stringers kick the crap out of the Bills 4th stringers it will make reading the posts in the post-game thread very enjoyable

I didn't get that either. I think the Bills deserve to be at #1 but at least in the top 3. You want to say KC or Philly I can accept that but Cleveland and Indy not a chance.

Does there need to be a rethinking of the basic D?Gregg replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall I remember in the "Darmar" game when Burrow torched the Bills D for an easy TD on the opening drive. The Bengals were heading for a 2nd easy TD on their 2nd drive of the game before the game was stopped. Two things over the years the Bills defense have struggled with. Getting pressure on the QB with just their front four and doing a better job stopping the run. Beane made a lot of moves this offseason to improve that side of the ball. Hopefully it pays off otherwise it will be another year of playoff disappointment. I don't care about rankings in the regular season. When you have a QB as a good as Allen they need to get to a Super Bowl and have a shot to win one. The defense needs to step up when it counts and in the Allen era, they haven't done that.

Toyota Tacoma. Who's got one (or at least an opinion on them)Gregg replied to Goin Breakdown's topic in Off the Wall I have had and currently have a jeep. The main problem I have had with them is eventually the roof leaks and I get water in them. One jeep the passenger side in the front had about a foot of water in it. Another jeep it was the driver side, but the carpeting was just soaking wet as the water didn't fill up like it did on the passenger side. Next vehicle I get I am switching to a truck. I was thinking either a RAM or GMC but after reading this thread I am considering a Toyota.

Does there need to be a rethinking of the basic D?Gregg replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall They padded their stats against bad teams with bad QBs. Whenever they played a good offense with a good QB they got exposed. We see it every year especially in the playoffs. It is the main reason they haven't reached the Super Bowl.

Does there need to be a rethinking of the basic D?Gregg replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall The Eagles have a lot of talent on their defense. Coaching definitely plays a part, but Beane (so far) hasn't been able to build a good defense either with the draft and FA.

This article ranks home field advantages. Bills are to low IMHO at #8. I think they have the best home record in football over the last 7 or 8 years. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/2025-nfl-home-field-advantage-see-where-ny-giants-rank-on-list-of-all-32-teams/ar-AA1KVqea?ocid=entnewsntp&pc=U531&cvid=54bedd7f6c5c423e8f5c8d83e4cedd20&ei=14

Another win last night although not easy with the Rays tying it in the 9th and forcing extra innings. Anyway 5 in a row and a huge 4 game series with the Sox starting tonight. Let's Go Yankees.
-
The Yankees certainly lived up to their name (BRONX BOMBERS) hitting 9 HRs in their 13-3-win last night. 4th win in a row. Let's Go Yankees.

McDermott - "Still looking for that other safety"Gregg replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall If they lose to Baltimore which is certainly possible then the pressure to go win at MetLife in week 2 will be huge. The games there have been close in recent years. The Bills are 1-2 in their last 3 trips at the Meadowlands.
-
I will be happy if they can keep the other team from scoring 30.

Greatest Quarterback never to start a Super Bowl #17Gregg replied to Jistafan's topic in The Stadium Wall I wanted the Bills to get Bill. Better HC and DC. But since I am not Terry Pegula it doesn't matter what I think.

Don't forget about Cook. If Cook can build off last year's production, then that will make it much easier for Allen and the WR's.

Last night while watching the Bengals - Commanders I was surprised the Bengals played Burrow as long as they did. He was getting hit and sacked a few times as well. I am glad the Bills don't do that with Allen although it probably wouldn't hurt if Josh would get one series in these preseason games.
