  1. I am not so sure the Lions are the best team in the NFC. One could make the argument for the Eagles, Packers, and Vikings. In the AFC it's 3 teams (Chiefs, Bills, Ravens) as I don't see anyone else having a shot to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. If Lions don't get some of the injured players back on the defense, they won't be representing the NFC in the Super Bowl as well.
  2. No, they are wearing their normal dark blue jerseys with the color of the pants "TBA" as of now.
  3. The Bills will try to win just with their backups. NE doesn't want the win for the obvious reason.
  4. From a Bills POV it's a glorified preseason game. The only thing I want is for the Bills to get out of this game with no injuries. Win or lose doesn't really matter.
  5. Doug Kyed on X: "Patriots HC Jerod Mayo says on WEEI that everything is on the table and Drake Maye could be sat this Sunday, but that would have nothing to do with the hit Maye took against the Chargers." / X
  6. Let's hope they can make it 10-0 before having to go to KC, or 11-0 if KC loses in the divisional round.
  7. Can the Steelers still fall to 6. I thought they were locked into the 4 - 5 matchup with the Texans.
  8. Who would you rather see go to KC for the divisional round? The Steelers or the Texans.
  9. I knew Tua out but I didn't realize Waddle got hurt. Then it does make it a tossup kind of game. Still the Jets looked like a team that quit.
  10. Even if the Broncos lose to the Chiefs backups, I can't see the Dolphins losing to the Jets. As we saw yesterday the Jets look like a team waiting for the season to be over.
  11. Maybe Brick Johnson can tell his Daddy which coach has the highest rating on Madden. Then Woody can go hire him.
  12. I don't see the Bengals making it. Even if the Broncos lose to the Chiefs backups that would open the door for Miami. The Dolphins would just have to beat the Jets, and they would clinch the #7 seed. I don't see the Fins losing to the Jets. As yesterday has shown it looks like the Jets have quit on the season. The Bengals would need the Broncos and Dolphins to lose and then have to win their game at Pittsburgh to get in.
  13. His stats are MVP worthy. It's not his fault his defense blows.
  14. The Steelers have beaten the Ravens in 7 out of the last 9 matchups or something like that. These teams hate each other, and the games are usually close despite the last one being a Ravens blowout win.
  15. He did push Rodgers on Saleh and Douglas. It was reported at the time by the NY media that Saleh and Douglas wanted to sign Carr who also would have been an upgrade over Wilson. But Johnson overruled them and said they were going all in for Rodgers.
  16. I just hope the Bills WC game isn't the one that is selected for Prime. I don't have Prime so it will be off to the bar. No way I would miss a Bills playoff game.
  17. The stadium opened in 1973 and the first ever home game was against the Jets. Bills won 9-7. So, they opened Rich Stadium against the Jets might as well close the stadium against them as well.
  18. If the Bengals somehow get into the playoffs (I don't think they will) then Burrow will get serious consideration for the MVP, and he will deserve it. He would be right there with Allen, Jackson, and Barkey.
  19. The fans think like that, but players and coaches don't. The players will want to win.
  20. Neither McDermott nor Beane are getting fired as Terry likes both as his HC/GM. I wish Beane and McDermott would stop with smaller, finesse type of defense that we have. It doesn't work especially against good teams and QB's. I would like to see a bigger, more physical defense that does a better job stopping the run and getting after the QB. Think Steelers defense as an example. Of course, Beane has to find these players in the draft which is easier said than done.
  21. Good point. Still have to think the Pats win. The Bills won't be playing the starters, and they probably just want to get through the game with no injuries. Maye will make enough plays to give the Pats the win. IMHO.
  22. Burrow and that offense would be a pain in the ass to play especially with how the Bills defense plays in the playoffs. But Allen, Cook and the rest of the offense would have a field day against the Bengals garbage defense. The game would probably end up like a college basketball score. Something like 63-57.
  23. LOL. Listening to Jets fans call in and cry about the Jets to WFAN is going to be so enjoyable.
