Will He Reinvent Himself: Coach Sean McDermott
Gregg replied to waterglass's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's one of the main reasons Mahomes has championships and Allen doesn't. For all of the Reid, Mahomes, Kelce hype the Chiefs defense is the one who is the backbone of the team led by Jones. The Bills need to build a bigger more physical defense. Similar to what the Steelers have. Of course, having a player of TJ Watt's caliber doesn't hurt. -
Unless FOX has it protected that Vikings - Lions game is getting flexed to SNF. Good chance it's not only for the division but the #1 seed as well.

Look at what the offense did at Sofi and Detroit. I think the players especially the offense would love to have a dome in Buffalo. -
KC finishes up at Denver and the Broncos may need that game. Divisional games on the road are usually tough games.
-
Lamar Jackson 2024 stats so far. 3,787 yards passing with 37 TDs and 4 INTs. This doesn't count his rushing stats. Jackson absolutely belongs in the MVP race. As I mentioned I hope Josh wins but the case can be made for LJ.
-
I hope Josh wins the MVP award, but you could easily make the argument that Lamar should win it. He has had an outstanding season.
-
Exactly if the Chiefs lock up the #1 seed and the Bills lock up the #2 seed with a win vs the Jets then I could see the starters playing only a series or two at most at NE before putting in the backups. The starters will play vs the Jets.
-
Bills still need to clinch the #2 seed from the Steelers/Ravens. Even if Chiefs beat the Steelers the Bills still have something to play for.
-
I am surprised the NFL had games on this past Saturday with the CFB playoffs. Usually, the NFL doesn't play on Saturday when CFB is going on.
-
Good point. I wasn't surprised yesterday was close. Sometimes those "easy" games are the hardest to win. Divisional games are usually close anyway as the teams are familiar with each other.
-
As long as the #1 seed is still in play the Bills won't be resting anyone. If the Chiefs clinch the #1 seed, then maybe it's a different story but the Bills still have to clinch the #2 seed from the Steelers/Ravens.

Red Uniforms. Take them off. Burn them. Never wear them again.

I would expect this week vs the Jets they will go back to looking like the Bills again and wear blue over white. -
I still think the Chargers and Broncos get those final spots for the AFC playoffs.

For the Bills home schedule. Preseason games wear all white since its hot out. If the home opener is week 1 or 2 and it's a 1:00 game wear all white as it can still be hot out. After that blue over white for every home game. -

With the exception of Allen Cook is the best player we have on offense. AINEC. 182 carries 928 yards 14 TDs rushing with a 5.1 average per carry. -

As others have said, divisional rivalry games are never easy. Even the Pats during their dynasty years had trouble winning in Miami. The Eagles who many consider the best team in the NFC lost at Washington yesterday. Take the win and move on and get ready for another tough rivalry game with the Jets. 12-3 with the #1 seed still in play. Nobody can complain about that. -
I hope you are right about that.
-
The Bills are up there for sure, but I think the Eagles are the most complete team in football on both sides of the ball. Allen is better than Hurts so we got that going for us. With the injuries the Lions have suffered that makes the Eagles the favorite to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. Maybe Green Bay or Minnesota can beat them, but I think it will be Philly.
-
I think KC wins tomorrow but loses at Pittsburgh. It comes down to can the Broncos beat the Chiefs at home in week 18. This is assuming the Bills handle their own business. I think they will, but I just think the Jets game is going to be a tougher game then Bills fans will like.
-
I don't know if the Bills will be resting starters week 18. KC probably wins tomorrow but the Texans have a decent shot IMHO. Then they have to go to Pittsburgh on Christmas day. I could definitely see the Chiefs losing that one. Just a guess but I think the #1 seed will be in play on week 18.

A lot of fans thought he would be drafted higher. I remember many Bills fans wanted to draft Rosen (me included). Good thing Beane knows what he is doing and took Allen -

Forgot about him Good point. -
Rodgers the past two weeks has looked like his old self and the Jets offense has played well. They also treat games against the Bills like their own personal Super Bowl. I think the Bills will win but I think it will a tough game as they match up well against the Bills.
