Buffalo Bills 2025 Regular Season Schedule
Billsfed1 replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I really like this schedule. Bills were 10-0 at home last year and 4 of the first 5 are at home this season. To me the most visually impressive game last year was the Jaguars game. A late summer’s night in Orchard Park, great weather, smiles everywhere you looked…to think we’ll get 3 of those right off the bat. Then you progress a little further, should be facing the Chiefs in a reverse role from last year with them trying to play spoiler on our perfect season, and a pretty straight shot to the Eagles from there. Everything really seemed to fall into place in this one. Limited travel, the few real opponents spread out and lots of home games to start and finish the season. It’s perfect IMO -

Classic commercial 😂 -
Been listening to a few pods on the schedule and one of the recurring points I’ve heard is “wish the bye week was a little bit later”. The Eagles had their bye week last year in week 5 and won the Super Bowl. They also (like the Bills) had to play 3 games prior to the Super Bowl and they even won under those conditions. I’m not entirely convinced it matters. The Lions had a bye by winning the NFC last year and they were out in the Divisional round so I think while it may be nice to have it mid-season or perhaps a touch later…not completely necessary in my book. What do you think?

Same here, the first 3 picks for sure look like they’ll contribute right away
-
omg this is awesome lol
-
I think this guy is cooked. Really hard seeing another team enduring the media headache over a kicker…
-
I think so too, certainly wont be elite anyways
-
I don’t think his size matters really. If he’s staying on the lighter side perhaps that means he’s emphasizing the receiving portion of his game. Didn’t lamar jackson and tua do this last year?

The Bears are due lol

Kid looks great!

She went to school (and lived in Rochester) for several years. I literally couldn’t have bumped into anyone better

I say yes and by a mile. My gf has a double masters in nursing from New York and California (and Ontario). She single handedly kept me motivated last year during the KC stretch. She loves Dion and for good reason, class act and amazing player. Not sure how many fans here like hockey but it’s the same thing. Toronto = Buffalo

I think both points are true. 10 is arguably light if you consider what his assumed growth would be, however 15 is too high. Where i’m struggling with it is every guy that had a chance to seek greener pastures, up to and including Josh Allen took less to play in Buffalo. A compromise at the high-end for Cook is in the middle, but he likely feels he’ll get the 15 elsewhere (and he’s probably right about that…31 other teams, surely one of them will overpay). I’m just watching this situation from afar and am totally judging Cook like my two cats judge me on a daily basis. Every other player put the team first ahead of their own finances because they want to win…that’s got to count for something.

Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?
Billsfed1 replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
While we may not rank as a duo very high, with all the acquisitions Beane made at WR I think it will be a pretty good year…better than most people think at this point. Also you don’t want to do everything the same year after year. Wrinkles are required every offseason to avoid being predictable and with Beane making the moves he did, I expect there to be an uptick in the passing game. If Josh hits around 4000 yards like he does every year does it really matter what it looks like -
Lots of good takes in here. My order would mirror quite a few mentioned already but the only thing I’ll say is I’ve been really impressed with Shakir. His trajectory has been similar to Allens and I think he easily cracks 1200 yards this year. No one guy is gonna have crazy stats in this offense because of the rotation and deliberate use of everybody…but to me Shakir stands out and the starting running back, whomever it may be will have plenty of opportunity.

Deonte Walker for me. I think the kid has a ton of potential. Probably sees a fair amount of snaps when we play contenders that are run heavy or try to expose that aspect of our game. The other player I’ve got…Milano I think this is his best year in football given the talent around him. Who do you see as a big surprise on defense this year? Also I think the suspensions do actually work in our favour if the guys are disciplined and ready to roll week 7.

Why Landon Jackson is the next MONSTER in the NFL
Billsfed1 replied to MJS's topic in The Stadium Wall
Really like what he’s put on tape. I think he was an absolute steal in the 3rd by anyone’s measure. -
Ya’ll gonna talk about Dion or hate on me? 😂
-
omg this is perfect 😂😂😂
-
Josh is too nice and it won’t be him. This is Dion’s time. If you go back and watch the tape, there’s plays where Dion is already in a half stance and just hand slaps off the best pass rushers in the league. He is everything Buffalo (and southern Ontario). A legit champion. Cook will come around. The team/organization adds every day. I really like our prospects this year but remember it’s in Dion’s prime.
-
Something tells me Goodell owes the organization that much. Given the historic nature of it, I don’t think there’s a flip flopping year to year in this case. We can make that up down the road but Highmark has to go off with a bang start to finish. Sunday night, Bengals.

As far as what Beane told those guys on the radio…he’s not wrong. Honestly it’ll probably go down as my favourite part of the offseason lol
-
Beane laid the smackdown lol. Sometimes you just have to do it. I remember years ago Doug Marrone did something similar to these guys but BB just took it to a whole nother level 😂

Nicely said and the last point is where I was going to go myself. The defense needed a lot of help and they got it. It’s more about handing Allen and the offense an extra 3-4 possessions a game and giving them great field position…they’ll handle the rest. Next year they’ll be able to afford to go offense in the draft but I suspect it’ll be pretty even with a couple picks in the first 4 rounds. -
Why not? Shakir was fifth round. I feel they stuck the first three picks this year, at this point take a swing on O.
