Lots of good takes in here. My order would mirror quite a few mentioned already but the only thing I’ll say is I’ve been really impressed with Shakir. His trajectory has been similar to Allens and I think he easily cracks 1200 yards this year. No one guy is gonna have crazy stats in this offense because of the rotation and deliberate use of everybody…but to me Shakir stands out and the starting running back, whomever it may be will have plenty of opportunity.

Deonte Walker for me. I think the kid has a ton of potential. Probably sees a fair amount of snaps when we play contenders that are run heavy or try to expose that aspect of our game. The other player I’ve got…Milano I think this is his best year in football given the talent around him. Who do you see as a big surprise on defense this year? Also I think the suspensions do actually work in our favour if the guys are disciplined and ready to roll week 7.

Why Landon Jackson is the next MONSTER in the NFL
Billsfed1 replied to MJS's topic in The Stadium Wall
Really like what he’s put on tape. I think he was an absolute steal in the 3rd by anyone’s measure. -
Ya’ll gonna talk about Dion or hate on me? 😂
-
omg this is perfect 😂😂😂
-
Josh is too nice and it won’t be him. This is Dion’s time. If you go back and watch the tape, there’s plays where Dion is already in a half stance and just hand slaps off the best pass rushers in the league. He is everything Buffalo (and southern Ontario). A legit champion. Cook will come around. The team/organization adds every day. I really like our prospects this year but remember it’s in Dion’s prime.
-
Something tells me Goodell owes the organization that much. Given the historic nature of it, I don’t think there’s a flip flopping year to year in this case. We can make that up down the road but Highmark has to go off with a bang start to finish. Sunday night, Bengals.

As far as what Beane told those guys on the radio…he’s not wrong. Honestly it’ll probably go down as my favourite part of the offseason lol
-
Beane laid the smackdown lol. Sometimes you just have to do it. I remember years ago Doug Marrone did something similar to these guys but BB just took it to a whole nother level 😂

Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?
Billsfed1 replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nicely said and the last point is where I was going to go myself. The defense needed a lot of help and they got it. It’s more about handing Allen and the offense an extra 3-4 possessions a game and giving them great field position…they’ll handle the rest. Next year they’ll be able to afford to go offense in the draft but I suspect it’ll be pretty even with a couple picks in the first 4 rounds. -
Why not? Shakir was fifth round. I feel they stuck the first three picks this year, at this point take a swing on O.

Keep going defense. DT, DE

The more I think about it, the more i’m thinking good riddance. It’s painful tho I’d love to have him, he’s a nice player…but not a good look when virtually every other guy took a pay cut to play in Buffalo and he didn’t. Love his effort, solid guy on the field and again, would love to have him. Maybe he’ll wake up and realize what every other guy knows once 2025 is in the books.
-
Is he worth it? This is the question folks…😳
-
Those first few games to me are fairly dicey. Still think he’s a hell of a back and would love to have him, but if he really makes his intentions clear…does he get booed out of Buffalo? When he undoubtedly makes a big play in the opener…does he get booed? Hollins and Cook were the 2 guys not named Allen that really gave us something against the Chiefs. IMO he deserves his spot if he’ll behave. Is he worth the headache?
-
Personally, I think Miami still. The Jets are gonna be bad for a bit still, and while the Patriots have made some nice moves, and have promise at the QB position…a contract like the one they just gave Diggs is what bad franchises do. During our 17 years we made many like that. Miami still has some firepower on offense, a good coach, I think most years they’re a 9 win team.

Rasul Douglas Wants to Stay in Buffalo

Bring him back. We need depth. -
I agree. But with a workload like that…he’ll have no choice but to come back. For whatever reason he was the only guy with a head bigger than Highmark Stadium when everybody else kept to themselves and got paid. I actually think his name was right under Benfords on Beane’s list, but he couldn’t help himself. That being said, I absolutely loved his fire in the AFCC game. A little more maturity and he could be very, very good.

Another solid move from Beane 👍. Slam dunk offseason!

You want a monster run stuffing DT? I got you a monster DT

Hard not getting a stiffy watching that. It’s something this defense sorely needs lol. Anything to improve sign me up! -

If we can get him with a late round pick i’d be all for that. I think he’d look pretty good in Bills gear. -
Bills had the best free agent class according to ESPN

Like I said…Beane is the MVP of 2025 (so far) -
Hollins was great. To me he’s the type of guy you need, and he balled out when it mattered most (as did cook). I think the WR group as assembled now for the most part is good, maybe one more pickup between FA/Draft. Between Palmer/Samuel/Shenault, I think somebody there has a year.

Your thoughts on the Bills offseason so far
Billsfed1 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Beane has done a heck of a job. Last year people weren’t too thrilled to see Brandon turf guys left and right, but he (and McDermott) had a plan. And for the most part, it worked. They were a play or two away from the Super Bowl in the end. The moves he’s made over the past couple of weeks has the roster in a position where there really isn’t any gaping holes. He’ll trade up in the draft and further bolster the team with a few nice players. I really like the shape we’re in personally. This is the first year in the Allen run where a Super Bowl is expected IMO. I’m sure everybody within the facilities at 1 Bills Drive knows the goal isn’t just to go to one. If we get there…we have to win. -
