Around the NFL - Week 10 - Sunday, November 12th
BillsFooteball replied to RiotAct's topic in The Stadium Wall
Still a very good day but depends on how you look at it. Expectations right now for myself is I just want to see bills in the playoffs. So NE losing now 2-8 means nothing. They aren’t making playoffs. In fact now i want some wins (not against bills) to hurt their draft status. Jaguars happy they loss because it was to a NFC team but almost certainly will win division so meh. Bengals happy they got the L but look at Texans schedule who are legit contender for wildcard. That game was a toss up for me. Best one of the day was Lions beating chargers. NFC team over a threatening afc wild card team. Love that A great day for me would have been Packers beating the Steelers. NFC team over a wild card threat afc team. Also ravens beating browns (division winner over wild card threat) once again if goal is just get in playoffs, these would have been more beneficial. All that said what matters #1 of course is tonight. Go bills!!! -
Week 10, Broncos v. Bills - Predict the Score

Bills 28 broncos 17 -
Someone made a post couple weeks ago asking do you watch football if bills are not on. Tonight is a challenge like no other. 2 NFC teams that mean nothing to bills and arguably the 2 worse teams in football. Brutal but I’ll be tuned in until the end

Could be on previous page or thread but what was consensus and grading of Joseph and Douglas first game? To me Joseph looked impressive and was that stop gap in the middle, made a big play. Douglas I know he gave up a couple catches (Higgins if I recall?) but the coverage looked good. Didn’t appear to be one those 8 yards in space making the tackle. Looked like he was right there to defend the play and credit Higgins for making the play. Overall with short time with team I feel good looking ahead What were others thoughts or actual ratings and grades for new fellas?

Carson Wentz (finally) Signed-Headed to L.A.
BillsFooteball replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not that I hold wentz in highest regard but I’ll take this as a win. Wentz is 10x the QB that Wilson is. With that elite defense please keep the QBS away. Can’t believe they are still rolling with Zach -
10 wins will get them in. One game at a time but agree with earlier post on here. Feels like you have to take the next 2 against broncos and jets. You get to 7-4 with couple conference wins and let the fun start. I currently believe bills will make playoffs. Lose to broncos or jets and I’ll have hard time convincing myself they will get in

Officially out of the playoffs as of now
BillsFooteball replied to Coldfronts's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dolphins are not out of bills league. Bills dominated them. The difference is Miami has beat the teams they should beat, bills have not -
Just have to look at it if bills make the playoffs they will have to earn it. Season is not over. They can’t lose to anyone who they should beat (broncos, jets, patriots) it hurts that 2 losses are from that group. They will have to win some games against contending teams (chiefs, eagles, cowboys Miami again) won’t be easy but if this is a contending team they absolutely can still make playoffs, if they don’t get in with 7 seeds, don’t deserve it and no shot

What is the downside of calling a timeout with couple seconds and halimary?

Big game for sure. But if bills lose whose the contender in AFC East? The team who can’t beat anyone .500 or better? -

I get the importance and the point and partially agree. But if that’s the case what have we found about Miami? They can’t beat a .500 football team? So we have to wait until what week 15 when they play cowboys to see again if they can beat anyone? They beat the teams they should beat so I will give them that credit -
Die hard fan for 35 years. I consume everything bills related. Was just a reader for here for years but created account within last year to join discussion. Overall this place as is good as anywhere for bills content. There is both extremely knowledgeable and comical individuals on this page

Week 9, Bills v. Bengals - Predict the Score
BillsFooteball replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope I’m wrong I just don’t currently like this matchup on both sides of the balls. Bengals 35 Bills 17 -
Did I read that Miami is underrated?!? They will make the playoffs but the point of this post is overrated/underrated Miami is one of most overrated teams this year based on sports worldview. This dates back to last year as well where they were media darlings. But let’s take this year beat the chargers, patriots then the 70 spot on broncos. All I heard was best team in NFL by far and all time great. Play the bills and got destroyed. It was pretty quiet week but somehow after defeating the almighty giants and panthers squad the media is right back to crowning them #1 team. Excitement builds as they face the eagles and get rocked. Here we go again this week vs chiefs. They get smoked again they aren’t just overrated they are complete frauds. Good for them winning the games they should win, but eventually they will have to beat a good team

Week 8 - Around the NFL (i.e. NOT a Bills thread please)
BillsFooteball replied to aristocrat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Saw so many chiefs fan post Andy Reid play calling cost this game and so many others in past. Constant mentions about how much better they would be without Reid and wishing they would fire him. Now that’s about as good as an offensive scheming coach there is and a 2X Super Bowl winner for a team that still sits in first place this year. Overreactions from all fan bases are strong -

Bills got the win now let’s go falcons, saints, patriots 🤮, giants, jags(tough call but jags will win division so I’ll take a Steeler L), panthers, Seahawks, cardinals, bears, lions, niners, and broncos -
Do You Watch NFL When The Bills Aren’t On?
BillsFooteball replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall
Absolutely all day. NFL is really all I watch. Very little into other sports and shows. I absolutely love days like this. Bills win Thursday and I can sit back stress free watching all games today and tonight rooting for bills interests. Go falcons, saints, patriots 🤮, giants, jags(tough call but jags will win division easily so I’ll take Steeler L), panthers, Seahawks, cardinals, bears, lions, niners andddd broncos!! -
100% agree. Very small chance something good comes from it but absolutely no downside. Does everyone forget just last season? Scoreless in first half facing the jets. 4th and 1 from own 39 yard and knox goes under center. The bills were never going to snap the ball and Moseley got fooled and leaps Offside for a first down bills. Bills get a TD on that drive to close the half. Tough fought game where bills get the 20-12 win. You can look back now and say that was one of the (if not the #1) most impactful play of game
-
Until seeding and bills actually (if) clinch a playoff spot, 100% of time I root NFC over AFC. As we get deeper in year for teams that won’t make the playoffs in afc i then will root for some wins to hurt draft status. There is zero benefit to the bills on having bengals beating the niners. Go niners

Bills now Vegas betting favorites to land Derrick Henry
BillsFooteball replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Please no and let this one just end as a rumor. That is unless they address DT, LB, CB. Hell before RB I’d take WR, OL as well. -
Could bet that Knox would have dropped about 2 of those catches from Kincaid last night. That kid is so smooth. Great routes and hands
