It’s all about how you maximize their talent. Samuel is a very good receiver and I trust that Brady will find ways to leverage what he brings to the offense and complement Kincaid, Shakir, and Coleman. We will create matchup problems and have a solid set of receivers with great hands and strong YAC ability. I am looking forward to moving on from Diggs and Gabe.

Not sure I’d call him a project. He does need to expand his route running options, but I think he can be a day one starter given his physicality, size and great hands. With Kincaid, Shakir, Samuel and Coleman we have the makings of a very talented and diverse receiver corps.
-
Not quite, Kincaid was set when the ball was hiked and he wasn't in motion and then changed direction as in the T&J play. Close but not the same. The thing that makes the T&J so deadly is the receiver goes in motion and the db follows, then the receiver quickly changes direction and the db gets picked by the TE as he tries to recover.

Don't disagree that another stud receiver is needed but we don't need another receiver in order to run this type of route. Diggs or Shakir could run this route all day.

If they keep Jones that will take a chunk but still, that number is insane.

Just to set the record straight, I’m not a Beane basher, but I do think he’s made some dumb moves. Everybody is going to have misses, but one thing that amazes me about what Veach has done in KC is the turnover of D personnel over the past 4 years and look at the D they have now. Kudos certainly go to Spags but between the draft and FAs, Veach has killed it, and this is drafting at the bottom of the round every year. He just seems to find guys who can come right in and fill a spot. Maybe he’ll regress to the mean in the coming years but they seem to have a solid formula in place there.

Its Pretty Obvious why the Chiefs win every year

And best GM in the league. -
I don't see a whole lot of press for this guy but he has been nothing short of amazing with what he has put together in KC and how he has managed the draft and turn over of personnel without missing a beat. Just looking at the D, I was blown away last night when it was said that Chris Jones is the only remaining guy on D from their SB of 4 years ago. Here's a look at the draft over that span. 2020: Willie Gay - 63 Sneed - 138 2021: Bolton - 58 2022: McDuffie - 21 Karlaftis - 30 2023: Uzomah - 31 I would love to see somebody go through all of the FA deals he made over this time to complement the draft picks. Amazing stuff. Sure their rookie deals will start to expire and KC will probably not be able to re-sign all of them, but he turned the entire over in 4 years and they still won the SB, so there's no reason to think he can't do it again.

Chris Jones the only guy on def from the sb from four years ago? That's amazing

Good from 60.

Bills add Miami Hurricanes DB coach Jahmile Addae to coach secondary

Now if we can just just hire a stud special teams coach. -
What a difference maker this draft class was for the Lions: Round 1, Pick 12 — RB Jahmyr Gibbs Round 1, Pick 18 — LB Jack Campbell Round 2, Pick 34 overall — TE Sam LaPorta Round 2, Pick 45 overall — DB Brian Branch The rest of their draft was not much but these 4 guys were amazing, particularly Gibbs and LaPorta. I think LaPorta could become another Kelce type dominant TE for years. It sure would be amazing if we could find 4 guys who could step right in at Saftey, WR, LB and DT draft this year.
-
Wish him well, but I have to admit that I look forward to seeing what happens with their offense next year.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda.......Over the years I have stopped second guessing because no one truly knows what would have happened. I do believe however that were well positioned to beat the Ravens and be competitive with whomever we faced in the SB. I also think this team I well-positioned to stay competitive and make another run.

My deepest condolences Scott to you and your family. Treasure the memories and years of enjoyment you had with your wife.

So much for the vaunted SF D line. Let's see if they can make adjustments to put pressure on Goff. Goff is far from mobile and they have get him moving in the pocket to have any chance -
