  1. Samuel will be far more consistent as than Davis. Book it.
  2. Thanks for your superior English take!
  3. If the BIlls want him, do you prefer trading out of the first, or taking someone else in the first and trading up in the second, or taking him at 28 in the first?
  4. Haven't heard much about Legette lately. Is he now firmly seen as a 2nd rounder? If so, top of the second round or where? If we still want him, is the better strategy to take someone else in the first and 28 and trade up for him in the 2nd? Or trade down from the first and get another second and extra picks? I guess it depends if there's a D-lineman we really like in the first, or perhaps a center?
  5. Why am I not upset by a billionaire's greed here? Because after 3 recent championships I don't give a $*** how much fans of that team suffer.
  6. According to @Beck Water, a poster who rarely lies, Kincaid had 46% of his yards after catch. I would guess that's the best on the team.
  7. A little shocked to see the OP was very critical of Dalton. I thought he had a great rookie year. Is he a tackle-busting machine? No, not yet. And maybe he will never be. But he gets open and gets YAC. The YAC should not be forgotten given how little we've seen it here from all receivers. After a record-setting year — yes, the bar for TEs in Buffalo is low, but he was only a rookie — I have expectations that he will be a top 7 or 8 TE this year and a top-5 TE by year 3.
  8. Brady: Hey Dawson, remember everything we said about 12 personnel? Knox: Sure do, coach! That was a really great idea. I'm stoked to do it this season! Two tight ends on the field at once. Me and the kid. Killer plan. Brady: Forget it. Knox: Huh. Long awkward pause. Brady. Forget it. Literally.
  9. Frankly, I don't know what a Chief Operating Officer does. Many people here are upset I asked a simple question and many have said it has nothing to do with football so my comment about getting a "football" guy is totally wrong. Mea culpa. I didn't know what the role entailed but I took a crazy leap of faith that if you're a Chief any kind of Officer that it's likely that a good knowledge of the industry you're in is a good thing. I thought that industry is football and not running a stadium or whatever it is. I'm still confused. I didn't know you could do this job well and not know football .
  10. Is there any successful precedent for one guy being COO of two separate pro sports teams? I don't follow other sports like football and have not idea but it seems odd to me. Why not get a football guy to focus on football?
  11. I thought he was going to be a post-June 1 cut? Can you cut someone now but designate it as post June 1 and that player can sign with another team?
  12. I think the idea is that the rookie may need a year to acclimate and to actually become a number 1 WR. In 2023, only 1 rookie WR had over 1,000 years. In 2022, only 2. So don't expect a rookie in 2025 to produce like a number 1. It's possible but not lilkely.
  13. Well, if that's the case I take back a lot of my negative reaction to this. I'm not a fan of the "watever" comment but it was the supposedly recent Twitter bio change to the wave goodbye that was the last straw. So I apologize and the media has done a shameful job here with reporting false statements.
  14. I'm going off of recent (last day or so) media reports that Diggs changed his Twitter bio pic to the wave goodbye. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/bills-stefon-diggs-gives-another-indication-he-wants-out-of-buffalo-with-cryptic-post/ "To make things even more interesting, Diggs changed his Twitter bio to a picture of him waving goodbye -- which could indicate his last time playing for the Bills. Diggs." https://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/articles/stefon_diggs_posts_cryptic_tweet_hinting_at_bills_exit/s1_17150_40116012 "Diggs recently took to his X account to post “ready for watever” while also changing his bio to a photo of him waving. Goodbye to the Bills, perhaps?" https://lastwordonsports.com/nfl/2024/03/16/stefon-diggs-trade-rumors-ready-for-whatever/ "In his latest posts, Stefon Diggs hinted at his desire for a trade by tweeting out “ready for whatever” and changing his Twitter header to what appears to be him waving goodbye to Buffalo. This could all just be a cry for attention, but there are some on-field reasons to believe this could be the end of the road." IF this has been up for months, since the games were being played, then I take back what I said and I was wrong. And if so shame on the CBS, and other news outlets for reporting something that is months old as a recent development. I don't follow Twitter and can't speak to the recency of the wave goodbye twitter bio pic. My interpretation is that he posted the wave goodbye pic in the past but only recently changed his bio pic to this. IF this is the pic he only recently updated for a bio pic, then that is 100% an intentional statement/trolling by Diggs. And it's 100% unneeded and counter-productive to the BIlls as a team. Can anyone confirm or deny?
  15. I'm hoping, maybe after Diggs leaves, whenever that is, that Josh steps up his leadership that way. I remember when Peyton Manning had his leadership in the lockerroom questioned ("Stupid kicker")... He later stepped it up.
  16. In spite of all the BS (IMHO) he causes with his messages and waving goodbye in a Bills uni Twitter bio pic (what a juvenile thing to do) I think it's a huge gamble to think a rookie and Samuels can be our top two WRs this year... So I think he plays one more year and is gone. But who knows. I just wish he'd shut up and focus on doing what team leaders should do.
  17. But @Mango brings up the point, I think, that don't just look at dead cap, look at the NET savings of dead cap vs paying his salary. And I think Mango says that cutting him saves us NET $5 million next year but if we roll over the $19 million in 2024 savings to 2025, that NET savings then is $24 million with Diggs off the roster ($5 million net in 2025 + the rollover of $!9 million savings from 2024 to 2025). So we would have an extra $24 million next year if he's gone. Mango, did I get that right?
  18. Hey Mango, my brain hurts doing the math (or is it the hangover?)... Are you suggesting we roll over the cap savings to 2025 if we cut him June 1? If so, what does that mean for 2024? Do we have to eat dead cap this year? If so, I don't think we have the room to do so without some massive restructures, which many don't want. So how does that work?
  19. Yes, I just sat down and watched all 9 minutes and 59 seconds and I don't change my mind. Stephon talked a lot about himself. How he wants to be in moves. And launch a fashion line. No talk of winning championships, though. He said "where's there's smoke there's fire" implying trade rumors are the result of the team wanting to trade him. He said people get more upset with him when he's quiet. What a bunch of $*** He says he's ready for whatever happens. So what am I supposed to see "in context"? I'd love to see hear him say this — and then stop f****** tweeting: "I love being a Bill and if i had my way I'd retire a Bill. I have no interest in going to any other team. I want to win a Super Bowl with the BIlls. That would be the pinnacle of my career." Full stop.
  20. Ok, I've had a few drinks, I've watched the video on the last page with Kay Adams, and I have to say this: F*** his game playing. F*** him. I'm tired of him purposely seeking out attention and suggesting he wants to leave. Once or twice is acceptable but this is a god***m pattern and he's doing it purposely. I'm tired of it. Really. Go. Go play for a lesser team while your skills are declining and take your stupid social posts with you. I'd love to win our Super Bowl without him.
  21. A post-June 1 trade or release saves $19 million in 2024 according to Spotrac, but hits us in 2025: 2024 Dead Cap: $8,849,000 2024 Cap Savings: $19,005,000 2025 Dead Cap: $22,247,000
  22. Nope. I don't see how we can trade him now the. We're $2 million over, Diggs would account for $31 million dead cap and we still need money for other vets and the rookies. I think there's smoke but no fire.
  23. Can Diggs be traded now but have the deal for post-June 1, meaning could we get any picks now but have it count as a post-June 1 trade for the dead cap? If not, there's no way at all we can absorb that dead cap prior to June 1, is there?
  24. I find this all both funny and sad. Irritating and intriguing. If he's not gone, just shut the hell up on social, at least with posts of him in a Bills uni. If he's gone, I don't care and might welcome the change.
  25. Sorry, I'm not reading this properly and a bit confused... (it doesn't take much)
