  1. Many say that. Would you believe in my trips I never made it to GoldStar? I would like to rectify that one day.
  2. Caesar, I'm a visitor to your town a number of times earlier in this century, if Cincy is your home. It's how I developed my love of Skyline Chili and to this day there is a can of it in my cupboard, along with the Skyline hot sauce, right now. Sometimes its what I serve on gameday. I'm also a fan of the Montgomery Inn ribs. Good stuff, good people. First time I ever played cornhole was at a tailgate down there before a game. That's it. Have a good one, brother.
  3. Enjoy it while you can as I am obviously violating the site protocol for politics. Well go ahead, Mods, because you can just "eat **!" and "kiss my grits!" and "sit on it!" from the grand ole USA before I ever bow down and pretend to be comfortable with our team going on walkabout across the ocean to pay tribute and parade our boys before the king! Our forefathers didn't establish "The Foolish Club" just so that one day we would have to have Dion Dawkins genuflect while in formal wear to Kate and say, "Good evening, M'Lady! Have you tried the kippers and bangers? Oh you must as they are simply loverly!" or have iMcK stuck in a roundabout frantically screaming every two minutes, "look kids, Big Ben, Parliament!" No thank you! Go BUFFALO Bills, Orchard Park, New York, USA!
  4. OK, anybody else just about ready to have our Bills knock these ****ing guys blocks off right about now? and I’m not talking about a 31-27 nail bitter. Step on the freaking gas and drop no less than 42 on them and win by more than 20. I’m not annoyed by them. I’m annoyed by everybody else.
  5. Section 578, Row 70, Seats 130 and 130.5. Woohoo, let's do this!! ...wait. ... ... **** those don't sound like real seats, do they? 😐
  6. Step, the 2/3s slant of your 65% I think is an extremely sweet spot. Yeah...I am more than 50%, but 75% just seems a little much. Good take right out of the gate, Sir. Go Bills.
  7. Oh man, Nuch...jeepers that had to be tough. We also would have had a rematch against the Chargers back out at Jack Murphy Stadium in the AFC Championship and I think the outcome would have been much different. That 10-6 Bills team (11-6 after the playoff victory against the Jets) was as good as the 11-5 division champion the year before, and minus Fergy's broken ankle.
  8. Back when I was close to your age above, but 7 years earlier. No one ever...EVER besides me talks about what happened starting at 2:01:35. ...I remember it like it was yesterday, even viewing it a few minutes ago for the first time in years. Damn shame. Do you think that would happen in today's NFL? No freaking way.
  9. The Bengals went after us in that first quarter, like most teams do, but this seemed chippier like “we are the afc champs and we are tired of hearing about you.” Good…I hope the Bills are ready right from the start this time. The brotherhood after glow should carry on, but our guys have to remember who they are and get after it…hard. Respect your opponent, but let them know who you are. Go Bills!
  10. Sorry if previously posted and I missed, but this is what I mean. Sure, I knew we would miss him, but this is on the outskirts of Ridiculous City, in the State of Bull**** with respect to who is left and what they are accomplishing.
  11. Thank you, I thought it was me. I have projector that does a great picture, and this time around I just couldn't dial it in. Still looked good, but not as good as it normally does. Was a little frustrating.
  12. Va, honestly, I am pretty calm about this game. Not in arrogance, but just calm. However, I will most certainly be PO'd if we walk out of this game with something like 3 sacks for 8 yards and Burrows lighting us up because we could not get to him. All the picks, all the free agents and you lose Von Miller a couple of months ago and you turn into the sisters of the poor trying to put a pass rush on? Please. Will not be happy.
  13. This is a little like asking if I respect OJ now because he hasn't killed anyone in 28 years.* (* this isn't at all like it, but merely just a vehicle to slip this one in there (that's what she said))
  14. "OK, let's turn it over to Chris Brown, high atop High Mark Stadium with the call for today's Bills-Bengals divisional round playoff game. Brownie, take it away."
  15. Clayboy, we need to help that guy out, too. Dang it that has just been going on for too long. Life sucks so bad when you are on the edge of being entitled to a lot of money, but then have to go out and ask others to help you just to get over that hump.
  16. Sunday...maybe the most watched Sunday division round in League history. The most watched Monday night game in 22 years, which was never finished, is now a playoff game? Followed by one of the great playoff rivalries (just being honest) of all time being renewed and it isn't just in name only with both teams being pretty good, equal to the highest win total of the weekend...which is the game played earlier that afternoon. I am unwavering in this now as I have been for many years of my life. What is my all time favorite sports period? Without blinking...the divisional round of the NFL playoffs. Always has been, always will be. GO BILLS!
  17. Thank you, Realist. I apologize that it was lazy of me not to link to their schedule. I had checked this out over the weekend. I was just running around, though, at the time I posted earlier. I love the Niners, but right? Right?! The Cowboys are dodgy, but at least they will be a real test. I will not rule out an upset here.
  18. same convo with a friend, BF89. In actuality, I believe, the best team they’ve beaten all year…has been the Chargers on November 13th. 🤨 Everyone needs to check out their schedule.
  19. I really like Chris...but man, I kind of lean this way. I don't think he is terrible, but his "sayings" are so forced and cringeworthy and he is a bit shouty. I was honestly half expecting, "AND THE DOLPHINS MAY HAVE THOUGHT THEY WERE IN A PREVENT DEFENSE, BUT THAT DIDN'T PREVENT DIGGS FROM HALLING IN THE LONG BALL DOWN THE SIDELINE!", or something equally goofy. He'll get better, though.
  20. Look, it is my understanding that even a number of higher end Falcons season tickets holders will get dibs on tickets for this game. I know a guy. He's actually a prince...a prince of a guy, really. He has access to 50 yard line and suite level tickets for the AFC Championship game, but he's fallen on a little bit of hard times. If someone is just able to send him $2,000 per ticket (he has access to 10) it will help him get his feet under himself. The good news is the tickets would only actually be $250 a piece and you would get all your extra money back, which would be a steal for a Bills AFC Championship game, but again, to get things situated now it is going to have to be the $20,000 for the 10 tickets, up front. This guy would be very grateful and take you out to dinner in Atlanta on the Saturday night before the game, on him, if you are in town. This is too sweet a deal to pass up and I am only telling you guys about it so please don't blow this thing up. I'll forward the e-mail to all interested parties for this too good to be true Bills championship game opportunity a little later.
  21. I'll say it again, I was never worried we were going to lose at anytime and it is the most calm I have been through a game with some adversity in it all season. That said...guys, the Bills and Dolphins have got the mojo of a rivalry back again. 3 games. 2 point loss, 3 point victory on the final play, 3 point victory in the playoffs. 4 points separated these teams in 3 games, all year. We could have won all three, and honestly we could have lost all three. THAT is what brings a rivalry to life. There has to be even just a bit of anxiety that you would lose to the other team. Good stuff. Go Bills.
  22. Give me a 45-42 victory against the Bengals, but we give up two returns for TDs (so there are built in excuses for some of the play). Magic happens in mayhem and I love seeing those digits fly by. BTW, in the scenario above Josh throws for 375 and has 3 passing and 1 rushing TD. Cook gallops for a 38 yarder, too! EDIT: Anyone ever hear a Jaguars fan wax poetic about their 10-3 win over us in the 2017 Playoff? of course not.
  23. Tell me if we had won yesterday 20-3 we would be having as much fun going back and forth getting ready for this game against Cincy as we are right now? I think not. God bless it, I'll take that 34-31 victory over the spare parts Dolphins with so many memories, mostly good but some bad for the sake of stories and conjecture. I love it. Go Bills!
  24. ok, we’ll…I’m a little more optimistic than glass half shattered guy here, but you do make accurate points, PP. can the Bills overcome them? That’s the question. Are we telling ourselves as of Monday that next weekend there will be no turnovers, good protection, Josh taking obvious plays and our pass rush actually getting in to cause heat on Burroughs, all the while making tackles on 3rd or 4th down? Even without any of that we have been able to win, but these Bengals are just a different animal. We win a lot. They do, too, and something’s gotta give. Go Bills!
  25. Burrow isn’t going to have the same success as Skylar, especially given his rag tag band of receivers of Chase, Higgins and Boyd. yeah…that doesn’t write well, as much as it doesn’t read well. 😁
