Game week thread - Bills at Dolphins
dollars 2 donuts replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hear you, but I still don't care that much. They MAY even win the division, but if they go 6-2 (reasonable) they are still 10-7. That's tough, even as a division champion. They are not road warriors, either. EDIT: I wouldn't love it, but I am fine if we have to go there at 11-6 or 12-5...still hoping for 14-3, though. -

Yeah. Gregg, we have room for one more all season, and it can't be the Pats. 14-3 should be enough to take the Conference. Colts will get dinged twice and the Pats HAVE to get dinged twice. How sinfully hilarious it would be if in the year we beat the Ravens and the Chiefs we end up not only without HFA, but without a division title. Chiefs still have Broncos (2), Chargers and Colts Colts: Chiefs, jags (2), Hawks and Niners Patriots: Bucs, Bills, Ravens (that is IT for them) Ravens (who cares, even if they win the division, but still) Pats, Steelers (2), Packers Bills: Bucs, Eagles, Pats, Steelers...need 3 out of 4,with one of them being the Pats -

Gregg, buddy, I am not laughing at you. I am laughing because I want through that exact same possibility this morning before coffee! Go Bills! -

common theme: "the Bills will have a let down after the Chiefs game." Normally I would say "maybe" Yes, we are coming off of a big win, against KC, and are 6-2...but we are in second place by a half game and lose the tie breaker. No let downs here. -
Campbell, go back and sign a 1 day contract. We are talking about finishing your last half with a perennial SB contender. Ask Kyle Okposo how much he HATED winning the Cup with the Panthers.

11/2/25 GAMEDAY Bills vs Chiefs 4:30pm Post Game Thread
dollars 2 donuts replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I love beating the Chiefs and I did predict a Chiefs win, but indicated in other forums we could win if we did certain things, which they did. It is great, but honestly it tastes like so much ash. in less than one week we’ve lost two great players for the season. Necessary players, from a mediocre defense that can’t afford it. How do I know they can’t afford it? Because for four straight years we’ve suffered catastrophic injuries to our defense by way of multiple All-Pros, Pro Bowlers and core players having their seasons ended that have been at the very root of our playoff futility. -

"This was so sudden." he's been terrible for years. "Yeah, but at the very end, that was sudden."

If the Bills lose to the Chiefs. The Chargers beat the Titans. The Jags beat the Raiders. ...the Bills will fall into the 8th spot and out of playoff position due to conference record tie breakers with the Chargers and Jags. How this differs from Miami in '23 is that we were trailing Miami, but had already beaten phins at home. New England has already beaten us in our barn before we play them again. Weird and annoying this NFL world...The Bills are 5-2, but a game and half back in their own division. Meanwhile the Ravens have won for only the second time all season and are 2 games out of first place in their division.

Gentlemen, 6-3 is very doable. After that...it is a little dicey. However, later is for later. This has still be a fun season and time to go for 5.

Strong chance Ravens miss playoffs?

They come up against a new look Bears team this weekend, and then four out of their last five games are Steelers, Patriots, Packers, Steelers. Honestly, they could legit be 7-10 or 8-9 when everything is said and done, and that is with getting Lamar back soon. EDIT: At the absolute best they go 9-8. However, I don't think that gets them in. -
🤣 KB...real time. It happened in real time, but in slow motion. How do we explain to younglings that we are not making this up? That so many of us had the same experience. Do you want me to make it worse, in a story I don't believe I have ever shared on the board (at least not in the last 20 years)? That same buddy's nephew went to Oregon at the time and knew Ngata...AND he talked up how much Buffalo fans were loving him, hoping they'd pick him and was telling him the places to go in Buffalo for wings...AND Ngata was jazzed about the idea of being a Bill. Anyone flame me all you want that it isn't true or it didn't happen. Believe me, I get it, and maybe I wouldn't believe me. ...but it did. it really did. In my head, to this day, I can still hear, "You can never have enough DBs, you can never have enough DBs, you can never have enough DBs." It is my "What's the Frequency, Kenneth?" pyscho flip switch. Go Bills!

Colin, brother, it was just so straight forward and sober. You took a reality slap at what they were doing without any animosity toward them. You were Joe Friday..."just the facts." You covered a whole lot in just a few words, and you seemingly did it without putting any of your own guff in to it. It is a gift, man, especially around here and one that I really wish I had. it makes for clearer discourse.

🏆 Because the one I gave you in your post simply wasn't enough. ...and you dropped this 👑

Brothers...man, what can I tell you? Yeah...definitely yeah. "OOOOOOOOhhhhhh, now you say that about Ladd!!" Nope...note just now. Here IS the thing, though. After some of these pick are made you do start to convince yourself, just to get over it. It seems a lifelong thing...2006 NFL Draft: Me and my buddy, in the same room - "The Raiders took Huff! It is happening! We are getting Haloti Ngata!!! We are getting him!!" Moments later - "... ... ... (because, no lie, we were silent for about 30 seconds) ...Whitner? Donte Whitner?! It'll be alright. He's good. Good pick. It will be fine."

Dear Blank Stare, You have no idea what you are talking about. You are out of your depth, so you should just avoid commenting. Good Day. Sincerely, Kelvin Benjamin and Zay Jones 😁 CNY, yep. Absolutely.

They are really good players, OMF, and actually great at times. ...but no, I don't think they regret it. They think it would be nice, but I doubt they regret it. I wanted Ladd, badly, regardless of the similarity to other players. ...I wanted DK Metcalf, as well. Neither of these were hindsight.

Absolutely, positively what DC said, and if we start doing some mathing and some simple logic we can kind of see why an already surly Diggs got surlier. Apparently, the logic at One Bills Drive all along was if you have a GOAT under center instead of having a second all pro WR why not just have no all pros and let everybody eat. BTW, it hasn't come up recently but did it over the summer...can we throw away the posts that claimed that this Bills team was better than the 4 Super Bowl team, if for no other reason than that team was prancing along with not one, but two future Hall of Famers just at the WR position and this team has no WR in any danger of even being a pro bowl alternate. We were 13-4 last year, running up 30 point games and I will die on the hill that I was never that impressed and I could have not only lived with no Brady after the season, but for the first time ever I felt the inkling that McBeane as a tandem had to prove something to me for them to stay. ...just an inkling, mind you. Nothing knee jerk yet. Go Bills.
