If you're gonna trade back, say a half a dozen picks, go back and take a half a dozen picks off the list above. Trading back ain't gonna do no good with KC and Philly right behind us. -
Rather not go there. Trying to enjoy my coffee. Enjoy your lunch. Tea and Crumpets?

We did it last year and may do it again this year so....As a matter of fact, had we done what I proposed last year maybe WR wouldn't be the need that many feel it is a year after a loaded WR class.
-
But no need for next 2nd and 3rd. A 29-32 pick next year should get us from 62 to 52 and 82. THEN use the 5th and 6th rounders to dabble. We may get a comp if Cook walks or gets traded. Somehow, we'll end up with ammo to get into the first if we need to. Worry about that later. SB! This year we get 30 / 52 / 56 / 82 then 109. Now those 5ths and 6ths can do us some good. edit remember..Seattle has 50-52 and 82-92. They're giving basically a 3rd for a 26 1st. They may need it if Darnold turtles. So win/win

But the trade up was a big tell...especially if it seems like an OMG knee jerk reaction.

See Beane always drafts for need. Always. This year we'll see what they think is most important and that should be a final grade on this GM. I like Beane, but after x amounts of WTF?..... Starks or Emmanwori I would be fine with as they can play Safety, Nickel or Dime and not have 100% work load....according to Bills past MO

I wish we could get over the 3T 1T crap, it's 2025. All we've heard for 8 yrs. is how we wanna rush fo. Well with 5 Oline men, a TE and a back, good luck with that. It's simple math. Unless you got Moses at NT and the disciples on the line, the front 4 ain't happening, especially if you draft poorly and sign low end FAs. That being said, I'll take the most disruptive DTs and Edges I can find. Guys that can play up and down the line. Give me 4 Chris Joneses and we'll start from there. First step is Nolen. ( could be another Chris Jones) and go from there.

Another one - Trey Hendrickson asks for a trade from Cincy

I don't see how we could make this happen either. I think it's time for BB and McD to establish a young core and PLAY them. Screw the bottom of the barrel vets and bottle feeding rookies. ie. Draft the hell out of the Dline and make it a strength and not like it took so long to make an Oline. BTW just as a prediction, I think Ty Robinson from Nebraska will be a Bill. Kyle Williams 3.0 -
I would rather he pick BPA at every spot and if somehow we can pry a 3rd from someone without using both 4s fine. Trading up, trading back is the best way to outsmart oneself IMO. 2026 picks which are at the end of every round are better used to create a 3rd this year and / or move up in round 2. At some point we will end up with extra picks next year, like this year. Burn that bridge when we get to it. Quit f..in around, we need to win now or at least have a core going forward. I don't want to hope that MAYBE Josh can end like Peyton. Pick a guy, lose a guy, lose a guy pick a guy. Let Howie run this draft. 2 SBs in 3 years? IDK Beane is gonna have to crush this draft or he is gonna stay on the B team of contenders.

Maybe they wanted Worthy last year as he was a need...like this year, and they thought they could move down for a paltry 3rd rd. pick and still get him. How did that work out in Jan.? They're not gonna wheel and deal? I hope you're right and we don't give up 2 4ths to move up a few spots in 1 or 2...cause that's all we got for that scenario. -

IMO they absolutely need to pick at 30. K.C. and Philly pick after us and if we're on the fence at 30, they'll take a player we should have or were hoping to land on and we will pick a 40 plus player at 34. No Bueno. Even if the 3 DTs are gone, I could see the BIlls picking someone like Scournton, and I'd be ok with that. Laugh all yous want, but when he's a star in K.C.or Philly and we're waiting to slowly work in the lineup an over drafted CB all for a pick at the end of the 3rd. We need to use a 1st from next year and pick who we want, where we want...without all the BS....including sacrificing both 4s for any reason. Use the 26 pick to move up in the 2nd and gain a 3rd. Then our later rds. will do more for us to tighten things up moving around a few spots. IDK, next Thurs. can't get here fast enough. -
I like receivers whose hands dart out and pluck the ball out of the air. Not a body catcher only. I thinks he's George Pickens with elite speed. I'm praying we get his counterpart in Porter. Both would be great.
-
Porter at 56 then move on.
-
The only DB I would pick at 30. Barron can play both slot and out day 1.
-
I'd also like to get another big guy to make 2 solid pairings. Nolen and ED then maybe a Collins and Carter. If we can manage a 4some like that, we should be able to go into the 1st 6 weeks with a much better lineup. DQ this year is gonna be like when we kept Star too long. cut. Bring JP back at least until week 6. Heck, maybe they can add Caldwell later.
-
Looks good! what was the trade?
-
Very interesting

To me it's the smart thing to do. I'm afraid he's gonna draft down and we'll watch 3 or more BPAs go by...for like pick 95 or we'll give up a 2 and both fours to go up 3 spots in the first. Am I having flashbacks? I guess this should be in the Doomsday thread..

I would not allow myself to complain.

Day 2 wasn't much better.

Drops mic.....

I would gladly send next year's 1st to them for 36 ( from 56 )and 70 instead. Probably still do it for 88. This draft could be a generational one. 30 36 62 70 or 88 109 132 6 core players to supercharge the back 9 for Josh.

I think they'll get a deal done by camp. I don't mind 10 mil x3. I would like to think they'd make him play out the year before topping 12. I would.
