  1. If Grant , Harmon and Nolen are gone, I could see Beane trading back a little for a 3rd. Then? Collins, Walker, Porter?
  2. I don't mind taking Harmon 1st. 5 sacks from inside? When will we take guys with actual production?
  3. Harmon and Caldwell both would be a get. That 2nd 2nd I'd rather an Edge.
  4. Thornton at 62 wouldn't kill me. We can call him Bad Santa late in the season when he's torching...defenders
  5. i hope Beane finds a team with 2 2nds and 2 3rds and deals a 2026 1st,( pick 29-32)....say to Seattle moving from 62 to 52 and possibly getting 82 or 92. Then I move my later picks to move around. Solid draft, addressing all needs in the right spots. Win/Win
  6. Just get him, that's all we need. I don't think he makes it to 109. I'm all for a Grant/Harmon Princely Porter. Please give us a 3rd somehow. I really want the first 3 picks on D. Well, throw whoever for Princely, but DT / EDGE / CB good start IMO.
  7. This would be an awesome start!
  8. The Texans replacing Diggs and Ceedee needing help.
  9. Both Golden and Embuka will be in Texas, so I hope DT. I'm kinda liking Harmon a bit more than Grant due to sack production as long as we can also double up on DT at some point.
  10. I'm not disagreeing, I would rather them use late picks and / or a future pick to get into a rd. where we have none like this year with no 3rd. In the last 7 drafts, excluding the Diggs trade, Beane has stood pat just twice. Oliver and Groot. Traded up 4 times and down once. Obviously the Allen trade was an answered prayer, the other 3 ended up being Tremaine, Elam and Kincaid. Down once which was last year for Keon and Carter. That's 5 moves out of 6 times in the first. ( no pick 2020) Every single pick has been driven by need at that position. To me this is outsmarting ones self. Make a board with a couple of options at each spot and stick to it.
  11. I hate the trade back mind set. the only team thinking that way should be the champs. I get that some QB hungry team may be looking to get back up, but I would still just use a future pick to fill in where we're missing picks. A 2 and 4 from next year for a 3rd this year....or whatever. That way we're not screwing around and can identify needs and players for each particular spot. Last second phone calls are no way to run a draft.
  12. Unless..we go DT at 30. We can still get starter quality Edge and CB in the 2nd. Trade that 26 1st! move up on one of those 2nds and get us a 3rd.
  13. I'd say Porter at 62 is about right. Starks can also play outside CB? If we're going DB rd. one, he's the only one if he makes it to us. Could see Emmanwori but I want Dline first 2 outta 3 picks. I disagree. Our 2026 1st rd. 29-32 is better ofF spent to maybe not only move us up a bit in the 2nd ,but also get us a 3rd. Great investment IMO. Trading back is just settling for less talent. Giving up both 4ths is stupit.
  14. Okay..Harmon, Burch and Caldwell.
  15. So...we have to at least jump Dallas for Golden...or 1st rd. WR is out....Do ya really wanna drop that coin right out of the gate?....and if you're not using a 26 pick, that leaves us what?
  16. This made DeSean Jackson come to mind.
  17. I would love this draft.
  18. I don't do them but appreciate those who do. While I realize no one on the planet can guess what Beane wiil do, it is fun to research player profiles. I just pray that one time we use a future pick to at least get us a 3rd. I am not a fan of trading back to do it.
  19. Well, I can't argue. Look at Franklin last year and where he went.
  20. They won't get us a 3rd and it would be nuts for one pick. Those picks are perfect for finding gems and building for the future. Best pick last year will end up being Solomon. We need to hit this year. DT / EDGE /CB /Safety /WR 5 picks we can put on the 53. I believe it can be done.
  21. Yep Trade with Seattle. 2026 1st. They get 2026 1st / no. 62 and 132. Bills go from 62 to 52 and pick up 82 or 92. Seahawks still have 50/62 and 1 3rd as well as 2 1sts for 2026 after a year of Darnold without Kevin O'Connell....ok Jefferson and Addison. Win / Win
  22. We need to hit on those 1st 4 picks...hopefully 5. We can't throw 2 4s and 2 5s at the no 3rd round problem. It just doesn't make sense. Have some nads and take that 2026 1st...pick 31/32 and make hay now. I've said this in other threads, but there's teams with 2 2nds and 2 3rds. With that trade we can move up in 2 and gain a 3. (Throw in 132 or 170 whatever). Pick 30 / 2 2nds / mid 3rd and 109 all can, and need to be hits.
  23. Well Beane will trade down again because....no one will be left at 30 that he can't get at 40?😉
  24. IMO we need a one trick Pony. Go deep and take a CB and Safety with ya. We have all the other skill sets but that.
  25. I like that he's a plucker. ala George Pickens
